Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

After experiencing several costly surgeries and a diagnosis of cancer for my chow chow, I decided after her passing to check into pet insurance for my Shiba Inu. I am so glad that I did and I am so glad that I chose Embrace. I took out accident/illness and did not need to use it for the first few years but now that Tippon is 10 he has been experiencing ear infections/allergies and had fractured his tooth. I have never experienced any issues with Embrace upon filing a claim and they process the claims and issue a check in a very speedy fashion. I have peace of mind knowing that whatever issues may come up, my baby will be able to have the best medical care possible and Embrace will be there to help. I highly recommend them.

Maisy was diagnosed with a heart murmur last year, but recently it developed into severe mitral valve prolapse with a torn chordae, along with congestive heart failure. The hospitalization to stabilize her, ultrasounds, blood-work etc were all covered. She is now stable and on 3 medications that will give us a few more years together. I never had to think twice about treatment decisions because we had Embrace. Choosing Embrace was one of the best decisions I've ever made.

One of our 2 dogs became very ill caused by a raging virus while we were on vacation. At our local animal hospital, he was diagnosed and treated. He needed surgery, which kept in the hospital for several days. Follow-up care, including pricey antibiotics, lasted almost 4 weeks. Embrace promptly processed and paid it's share of the bills, which ran to about $5,500. We were so smart to have bought this insurance for the dogs when they were puppies. I hope everyone is a smart as we are.

We have had Embrace pet insurance for two years. The first year Joey developed a seizure disorder and once I hit my deductible I received my reimbursements very quickly. This year he had surgery on his tail and an allergy flare-up, and once again, our claims were quickly settled. It's easy to file a claim online by uploading your paperwork and in less than 10 days we typically have payment to our checking account. We are very, very happy with their services.
