Very efficient
There have been only a couple of times I had to submit a claim. Which is good also because my deductible was reduced.
The claims were submitted by the vet, they fill out a simple form and fax it for me. I got an email confirming it was received and then one with the explanation and amount I was getting back. It was super fast and clear, no surprises.
I've had embrace for 5 years and only had great experiences with it. The plan increases annually, but I'd say that's the norm.

Embrace is very good insurance to have

What a relief
When Bennett, our 6 year old Golden Retriever, was diagnosed with a sarcoma, we had many worries: his health, of course, his care and the cost. We were fairly new Embrace customers (under a year) and had no experience of how the process would go. I couldn't be happier. I was able to do it all online; the process was efficient and surprisingly quick. All reasonable costs were covered according to the policy guidelines. I didn't need to be in contact with any staff, but when I did during the early process of setting up the insurance, they were helpful and supportive. I give Embrace the highest recommendation and my gratitude for alleviating some of my anxiety. Bennett is doing fine.

EMBRACE IS GREAT!
We've had Embrace for Duke Ellington the Dog for several years now and they're just plain great. Everything has been easy to do and straightforward, the staff has been fantastic with the few questions that we've needed to call about, and having pet insurance is something you should do. Monthly Cost
$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.
Deductible
Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll.
New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active.
Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian.
Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
