The best in every aspect.

I was clueless when it came to buying insurance for my fur babies. A co-worker suggested Embrace and I'm so glad I did! They have been absolutely the best, being so patient with my many questions and concern and always making me feel that my fur babies and myself are important. Their online portal is a breeze. Thanks for everything guys !

They are fair, but processing reimbursements takes too long

Embrace is the only insurer that considered my cat's previous illness as not pre-existing where other would probably have. I did have a chance to use the insurance not too long ago and they paid out as per agreement and provided an itemized detail of what got paid out and what was not. This company is very transparent and this I truly appreciate. What I wish they could do better is processing of claims. On average, payouts are anywhere between 6-8 weeks from filing. They need to improve this to get a 10-rating. But yes, I do recommend Embrace to pet owners.

I wish my personal health insurance was this good!

I got embrace after my dog blew out her knee and had to have surgery. Obviously they wouldn't cover the surgery as I didn't have the coverage at the time of the incident, and they won't cover any injuries similar or related to her knee injury, but we have used the coverage for anything and everything else for our dog and the process has been the smoothest and easiest I could have ever imagined. Incredibly pleased with this insurance company (I've never said that about an insurance company before!)

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
