Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

My Golden is almost 14 years old. He and another of my dogs had been insured with another company but last year my premium skyrocketed so I went looking for other options. With Embrace I was able to find a policy that would cover the big bills while being affordable. Recently my boy was diagnosed with megaesophagus resulting from Myasthenia Gravis. This involved an emergency overnight hospital stay and repeat follow up testing to confirm the diagnosis. Embrace paid my claims promptly and my old guy is doing great again.

This company is fantastic! My dog had 3 major surgeries in 13 months totaling nearly $14,000.00 and Embrace covered all of them. Their customer service is excellent. The claims filing and reimbursement process is fast and simple. It is peace of mind knowing that Embrace is there for my beloved dog. I would never be without Embrace and I highly recommend this company to all current and future pet owners. Thank you Embrace.

My 6-year-old kitty was sick with GI problems that required some fairly expensive tests to determine the source of her illness. The bills totaled over $600, and I am so glad I had Embrace insurance to cover 80% less my deductible. Embrace has devised the most customer friendly reimbursement procedure I have ever encountered. I faxed a simple one-page form, complete with vet's notes and signature, and got an immediate reply from Embrace. In less than a week, I learned that my claim had been covered, and the refund was directly deposited to my checking account. One experience like mine pays the annual premium for this excellent pet insurance.

I researched insurances before I purchased Embrace and I definitely made the right choice. I figured that after I got insurance for my rescue I'd have NO issues with her, but go figure. Getting Embrace for my girl was the best decision I've made.

Embrace continues to deny valid claims and make claims process a total misery. Prepare to have every valid claim rejected, have to torture your poor vet to send the same records multiple times and to have to call or follow up on most everything. And you’ll be lectured about your policy terms while you pay premium every month. Finally had a claim covered for giardiasis. But they deny coverage for diagnostic test as wellness? Really? Do they think stool testing to diagnose a covered illness is recreational? Just hopeless. Do not buy a policy from this company. It’s an endless nightmare.
