Wellness benefits are ok but when it comes to sick kittens they will declare everything as "pre-existing".

We had a shelter kitten that they covered the initial immunizations for, but when the kitten came down with giardia, they first said there would be a 14 day waiting period before anything giardia related would be covered, and then five months later, he subsequently got diarrhea, and they wouldn't cover the bills and medicine because they said we didn't do a fecal BEFOREHAND to rule roundworms out. This was well outside the 14 day waiting period they had previously informed us of. They will twist the rules in order to avoid paying anything out of the ordinary. I would NOT recommend them.

No hassle easy and fast claim system

I was skeptical of needing pet health insurance but our breeder insisted on it. I am so glad we took their advice. Our newfy tore his ccl and surgery was over $5,000. Embrace’s claim procedure is easy and they processed and paid our claim quickly with no problems. Definitely would recommend them.

Simply the Best

Since we’ve had other insurance with previous dogs, we are knowledgable. This company delivers on what you pay for. No quibbling about claims. Simple paperwork. Love them!

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
