Excellent support throughout spectrum of care

We recently took our dog to the vet for a routine exam, during which time our vet discovered that our dog had a torn CCL and hip dysplasia. Embrace was incredibly supportive, covering the additional and unanticipated cost of x-rays and the sedatives required to help our dog relax for them. Embrace processed our claim quickly and without issue. We couldn't be happier!

Patient and Caring company

After finding out Baxter as seizures, we contacted Embrace to get preapproval of the care he was going to need. After Vet visited the claims were processed in a very short period of time. The process of filing is simple to complete. I would recommend them to pet owners. Hoping they will continue to give the same customer service in the future. With now Baxter will need treatments for rest of his life.

did a lot of comparison before I chose Embrace and so glad I did!

Prices and coverage are very reasonable, great customer service, and easy claim filing. I especially love being able to structure the coverage options and deductibles in a way that meets the needs of my pet and my budget. I have 2 dogs, 5lbs/11yrs and 165lbs/4yrs, totally opposite ends of the breed, age, and weight spectrum, lol, and Embrace has come through for them each time I needed them too! Best bang for my bucks!

I'm questioning the worth of this policy and whether this company cares AT ALL about it's customers

Every time I submit a claim in this company they start a delay and deny tactic. It is very convenient (for them) that they do not have all the required documentation EVERY time a claim is submitted even though this information has been provided multiple times in the past.

Very timely response time

Excellent coverage, nobody likes to pay a monthly premium, however when I submitted my claim, I forgot one page (itemized bill)… was emailed for it and you contacted the veterinary office for it. I faxed it the next day and received a claim response the next day. Excellent communication and response time, will recommend to my friends

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
