I recommend Embrace 100%

Really really amazing insurance. Two of my kitties are dealing with serious medical conditions : cancer and kidney failure and without insurance it would have been impossible to afford the medical care Embrace has a great coverage and very reasonable premiums. The younger the pets are when enrolled, the better, to avoid any pre-existing conditions. Its worth every paid when they are healthy, because its inevitable they will deal with illnesses or accidents. Claim submission its very easy and the payments are fast. Customer service very very nice. Truly makes a difference dealing with a nice person when going through stressful times. I recommend them 100%

Embrace-Best Insurance to have

I give them the highest rating possible : very reasonable premiums and an honest and easy to understand policy terms. Claim filing is very easy and they are keeping you informed on the status. Payments are quick. Every time I interacted with the Customer service ( which usually is not necessary since the process is very smooth ) they are super nice and friendly. It makes a huge huge huge difference to have insurance, when treatments are needed. Have the pets enrolled as young as possible, its a great decisions. Life saving.

Very upset with Embrace they would not cover my dog's surgery for kidney stones since he had them in 2017 different stones.

I wish I had not signed up for this coverage as Embrace is being very unfair in payment on a major surgery to save my pet's life. Yes, he had kidney stones in 2017 but obviously these are not the same stones but new ones. How can you say they were preexisting. And to not even pay for even the endoscopy that removed the stone blocking urination is horrible.

Easy claim, quick denial

We signed up for pet insurance because our cat is genetically predisposed to gum disease and gingivitis. We took the cat in for her yearly cleaning and were denied because we didn't have the "wellness plan" for dental. This extra wellness plan costs upwards of $50/month per cat (we have four) to cover only $650 worth of coverage. This was not apparent when we signed up, and I am very disappointed in this bait and switch. We will be shopping for other options.

I’m so happy that I Embraced my pet!

My girl required TPLO surgery to repair a torn cruciate ligament and Embrace really came through for me. I love that you can customize a policy to fit your requirements. I work at a veterinary clinic and will inform anyone inquiring about pet insurance how Embrace helped my baby!

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
Embrace Pet Insurance protects over 100,000 pets across the U.S. with nose-to-tail accident and illness protection. In addition to its pet insurance policy, Embrace offers a Wellness Rewards program to help cover the cost of routine veterinary care, grooming and training. Its Healthy Pet Deductible™, the industry’s first and only diminishing deductible feature, is included with every policy as standard. For every policy sold, Embrace donates $2 to a pet-related charity, as well as offering additional funding and support to shelters and other charitable organizations.
