Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

Rylee is my second Scootish Terrier to be insured by Embrace and I would have it no other way. I have never had any problems with there coverage and refunds were fast. There Wellness plan is the best and covers so many needed items to keep you pet healthy. It’s such a good feeling when I take Rylee to the Veterinarian I don’t have to worry about “How Much It Will Cost”. I have Embrace there to help me make the best care decisions for Rylee and help with the payments. I highly recommend pet insurance to all my pet owner friends and people I meet in the vet office or just happen to talk with walking there dog. Robin

At the time of application, the company reviewed vet notes for previous 12 months. Those notes reflected one instance of vomiting and two instances of abnormal lab results. The only definitive diagnosis of a specific illness was a possible urinary tract infection. The company implicitly advised it would not cover any future illness that occurred within 12 months of the above findings if any of those findings reappeared in the future, unless it was proven the finding was unrelated to the new illness. It appeared to me that if my pet vomited again within 12 months and if that turned out to be a symptom of any illness whatsoever, there would be no coverage. My conclusion was that the company would be providing accident insurance only -- no illness coverage. A rather unique definition of "preexisting condition!"

I absolutely love Embrace Pet Insurance! I'm so glad that I got this pet insurance on my golden retriever as soon as I adopted him. He was healthy and happy until he developed epilepsy at the age of 3. Embrace has allowed our family to be at ease when it comes to spending money on my dog's treatment. It's highly affordable for the value it provides. Plus, the company's customer service is ABOVE AND BEYOND what I could even dream of. From chat support to phone calls with such kind human beings, I couldn't praise them more! I tell all my friends who have pets how strongly I feel about pet insurance, specifically Embrace. I joke that I should be a paid spokesperson for them, but of course I am not.

Great company with many good plans to choose from and very speedy claim reimbursements. Recommended by USAA which is the reason for using embrace. Very happy with the service. Washington insurance regulations have caused rate increases which would apply to all pet policy’s.
