We have been using Embrace Pet…
We have been using Embrace Pet Insurance since 2016. I cannot thank the company enough for their customer service and process of reimbursement. When our dog Sherlock was dying of cancer, there was no issue or questions regarding claims submitted and where there to hep me with any issues or concerns. It was a difficult time for us and to know our dog insurance was there for whatever we needed. After Sherlock passed away, we received a lovely signed card from the team at Embrace. I highly recommend Embrace pet insurance and pleased that USAA recommends them for us military families. Finally, Embrace Pet Insurance dashboard is so user friendly and I'm able to submit my claims very easy from my desktop, ipad or iphone.

Thankful I purchased insurance
I am thankful to have insurance, things have come up and it’s a great ease to know that I can schedule appointments and not have to worry about money to take care of my dog. The only draw back is that I do find it a little difficult to have claims processed precisely without having to call in to explain billing. The vets words do t always clearly describe what the insurance company want to know. But typically with a phone call it is cleared up.

worth every penny!
Although my dogs monthly insurance premium costs more than my own, it’s still very worth it. The team is easy to work with and very fair and upfront about costs and coverage. Having my puppy insured gives me peace of mind and that’s worth the price!

Monthly Cost
$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.
Deductible
Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll.
New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active.
Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian.
Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
