Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

I took out insurance on my dog because of the rising costs of veterinary services. Zoe is my 4th American Bulldog and none of my other very athletic and muscular AB's have ever needed orthopedic care before, so when Zoe tore her ACL it was a complete shock! I took her to a vet specialist about an hour away and was quoted $5500 for the surgery (!). Fortunately I asked around and found a "mobil vet" who specialized in this procedure and worked with over 40 vets in my area and performed the surgery for nearly 1/2 this cost. I got prior approval/clearance from Embrace before the surgery (which I highly recommend). The approval process was fast, as was the refund for the surgery itself. I am SO glad I had this insurance and can not recommend this company more! They are very organized and professional.

My Great Dane was recently bitten by a Copperhead and Embrace didn’t waste any time getting my claim covered and I had my money in the bank within a couple days of it being approved!

My claim was originally considered "not covered," but the staff did a great job of following-up with the vet for details on what procedures were done.

What I like about Embrace is that I was able to customize the policy terms to suit my needs and come up with a price that is affordable. Sending in claims is always easy and since I opted for direct deposit of my reimbursements, there is an even quicker turn around time to receive my money. Payments are also easily deducted from my checking account on a monthly basis so there is no monthly check to write. I checked into many other companies when I decided to purchase pet insurance, so I did my homework. My daughter also purchased Embrace for her dog upon my recommendation. Customer service individuals have always been pleasant and helpful when I have needed to speak to someone. I like their informative e-mails, offering pet information covering all aspects of pet issues to keep you informed.

Our puppy had an unfortunate accident resulting in expensive surgery. Embrace reimbursed me as promised in my policy within a few weeks. I almost feel guilty that the claims they paid me far exceeded the cost of our policy. Embrace saved me from financial disaster. I highly recommend Embrace Pet Insurance!
