Review of appeal following notice exclusions of coverage

Following notice that, based on a review of our dog's medical records, certain conditions would be excluded from coverage, we requested a review of their decisions. We asked the veterinarians who treated our dog for the excluded conditions to explain in more detail what their treatment entailed and why the exclusions might be reconsidered. Embrace reviewed the case and modified the exclusions to our satisfaction. The review was done promptly and, we think, fairly. We have already recommended Pet Embrace to friends. (Didn't know about the reviews until now.)

EXCELLENT COMPANY

It SEEMS this pet insurance is expensive, but I don't agree. My doggie (Charlie) is covered for anything he needs. I feel the cost is totally worth it!! I have had ZERO issue with this company (Embrace Pet Insurance). Customer service is very helpful and friendly! The claims process, whether it is for wellness or illness, is super fast and easy to submit claims! The claims are paid quickly and I have the full insurance. I am so happy to have Embrace Pet Insurance! I have submitted claims 3 times (2 for wellness and 1 for illness) and it was taken care of in a very timely manner. I have ZERO complaints and I feel very secure and happy knowing a member of my family is well taken care of in the even of....well...anything when it comes to my doggies health and wellness. I am a licensed insurance agent for people insurance so I am a real person. I highly recommend this insurance for anyone who has a fur child! Thank You Embrace!!

Find any excuse to deny claim but happy to take your money

These people denied a claim. My dog was in the yard playing with the other dog. I don't know if he scratched her eye or a branch that was in the yard scratched her eye but I can pin point the accident to a date and period of time within 3 hours. they're denying the claim for pre-existing conditions. Absolutely absurd

1st Class company helped us through difficult time.

We purchased Embrace Pet Insurance when our Golden was a puppy. Unfortunately at 6 years old he was diagnosed with Lymphoma. Thanks to Embrace Pet Insurance and the caring and responsive staff, we are able to provide the best treatment money can buy and we can focus on our pet’s recovery and not worry about how we are going to pay for this lengthy treatment. Seamless transactions to reimburse for treatments. I highly recommend Embrace to anyone interested in ensuring a long and healthy life for your dog.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
