Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

Unfortunately we have had to make many claims with Embrace, as our standard poodle, Max, has Addison's disease. It is a chronic illness that is easily treatable with daily pills and monthly injections. Embrace has been great at reimbursing us for our monthly shots. The portals are easy to use, both on my phone and on the computer. One of the things I like best is if I have to call them the customer service is excellent and the staff is super nice and helpful.

When my policy renewed this year, I was informed that alternative treatments (which include physical therapy, massage, laser treatment, and hydrotherapy, among others) is now limited to 12 weeks. 12 weeks of physical therapy is nothing if your dog has a major injury. I will absolutely NEVER recommend Embrace again. This is a huge change to the policy and I am extremely shocked and disappointed in them. One of the main reasons I chose Embrace was their coverage of alternative and experimental treatments. I will absolutely not ever start a new policy with any future dogs on Embrace again.

Our Great Pyrenees/Husky mix was estimated to be five years old when we adopted her and she had some minor preexisting conditions. We had never insured our dogs before and we weren't sure if it would be a good choice in our case. Five years later, we can say the decision to insure Skye with Embrace was the right call. Embrace has covered Skye through two expensive surgeries at specialty clinics. She is on a daily medication that is included with her coverage. The savings on that medication alone more then pays for the monthly premium. Claims have been paid promptly and with no question. I can't recommend Embrace more highly. They are great.

My Dachshund has had Embrace insurance since she was 7 weeks old, and she's 11 now. We've been fortunate not to have any huge claims until a few weeks ago, when a bad case of pancreatitis almost killed her. Embrace reviewed and paid each claim promptly with no questions and no problems. We'll be continuing our policy!!
