Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

An excellent company that stands by its customer – both human and animal. Best I could find.

Can't give these folks a thumbs up -- feels disorganized and random. They've paid claims that weren't mine -- I immediately told them and they told me to "keep the money." They have vet techs doing claims review -- two-years of college and a certificate doesn't equal a review by a advance degreed professional. One of the reviewers went back MORE than the stated period of review. One of the claims had been there for almost 60 days -- wasn't until I proactively required that they reviewed anything. They're associated with USAA, which gave them credibility.

Pleasant Representative was thorough, patient, and helped adjust my policy with terrific explanation. I learned I could get unlimited coverage by asking, (dependent on the age/circumstances of pet and contrary to what many rating systems falsely state) and that it's smart to get what you want because you can always adjust coverages down but not up, and coverages for senior pets are the same as for when you first enrolled them if continuously enrolled. I was unclear on that. Bravo! (I called/asked around, and was told about Embrace from diff. people who work in veterinary care in my area, based upon experiences of their clients.)
