Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

After losing a dog to bone cancer, I decided this time around I was going to buy pet insurance. Embrace was recommended by my vet's office who said they are the easiest to work with and seem to have the best overall coverage. I have been very pleased throughout our nine years. Claims are very easy to file and the turn-around time is usually really quick. My questions by email have been answered within 24-48 hours, and phone call questions answered immediately. This past year we have had numerous health issues, many expensive tests and procedures, and expensive meds. Thanks to Embrace and $10,000 in reimbursements this past year, my dog is now healthy and stable. Everything we went through this past year had 80% coverage. If not for Embrace, I wouldn't have been able to save my dog's life. I would never consider looking at another pet insurance company. Thank you, Embrace.

This company is across the board good. Last year one of my dogs had a brain tumor removed and the other had pneumonia with hospitalization. Very easy and simple (Like, “are you kidding me?!”) claims process. Also used several years ago for a leg laceration and jaw fracture (she ran into closed patio door. Use emblems folks! Lesson learned). Polite staff. Without hesitation I have my puppy insured by them. Very worthy of mention.

I was lucky enough to purchase pet insurance 6 weeks before my adorable 6 year old puppy dog developed a very serious brain disease called Meningoencephalitis. Embrace swiftly paid us back 90%! I highly recommend purchasing pet insurance for your pets!

These guys are great. Love the ability to upload and send documentation. If it's not all there, THEY call the vet. Fast reimbursement. Customer service is superb. Wish my own health insurance was this good.

We signed him up as a young puppy and for a number of years only used the Wellness Benefits. However he has since had several (expensive!) medical issues that have developed. Literally, each and every time we have sent in a claim the claim was processed quickly and we were very quickly reimbursed according to the terms of his policy. We had a question or two one time and got a friendly and accurate explanation of the issue...we have always been quickly reimbursed and the time we contacted them they were friendly, easy to understand, and understood our needs. This policy has made these unexpected medical expenses for our dog affordable and has helped us keep his issues under doctor's care.
