Grateful for Embrace Pet Insurance

We are very pleased with the response to our claims for Harry, our Miniature Schnauzer. We worked with Embrace and our veterinarians to assure we had the information required for our claims. Harry went through some complicated medical issues in his young life and is now a thriving, smart, loving, and happy little boy dog. Embrace responded to our claims and paid promptly. Great value

My dog Angel was mauled by a dog last December and the resulting vet bills were over 2K. I was reimbursed the 90%. It took a while to get a check in the mail but I am sure direct deposit is a bit quicker. They do not pay the vet straight out so hopefully your emergency vet accepts payment programs or you have good credit if you do not have the cash in hand. The price is very low for how much they were providing for my pets health.

Extraordinary, caring,professional pet insurance with ease of claim filing.

Pleasant caring people from the first introduction. This insurance company has something for everyone as you set your own parameters. The process is client driven, fast and fair. Such a difference than my previous pet insurance company.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
