Scam insurance-makes everything "pre-existing"

This is a total scam company. I just received an email that my claims on my cat will NOT be covered. They said that he had diarrhea over a year prior to getting the policy, so any illness he gets will not be covered. He ate a lizard and got diarrhea!!! So because I wanted to make sure that a living creature would be okay, this company punishes people and lies to them and says that everything will be considered "pre-existing." Do NOT get this insurance. Total scam!

Best Insurance

I had Embrace for many years, for my kitties. They are awesome. Great coverage, super nice customer service, quick reimbursement. We adopted 2 new kitties and I had them added to the policy today. It was very easy to do it. The gent was nice and very helpful. Embrace never disappoints!!

I do not recommend this company

I do not recommend this company. Customer Service is somewhat okay. I spoke with one Advisor about one of my pets policy and of pre-existing conditions and was told he is not covered because he was simply "looked-at" and it was noted about a potential problem. When I decided to go with Embrace, they labeled all his previous care as a "pre-existing" condition. This was a huge waste of my time and money, and the advisor was upset that I decided to cancel one of my pet's coverage and move to another company. Very unprofessional. However, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and leave another pet of mine with Embrace. It was then requested that he would have an evaluation under the Claim's department, in order to determine what sort of coverage he has, and what may be covered. I literally just got off the phone with a representative telling me this request was submitted on or around 7/13/2021. It's 12/3/2021. This is a pet insurance company. This should have been done ages ago, and I had to find out that I basically do not know what my pet is covered for. This is completely unprofessional and inexcusable. I will be cutting ties with this company as soon as they fail to meet my standards. I say "will" because I am not confident in their ability to get things done. I DO NOT recommend this company, whatsoever. They are leeches only after money.

Informative specialist and flexible plans

The specialist was informative and offered flexible plans which is important at this time for me and my family.

Monthly Cost

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
Embrace Pet Insurance protects over 100,000 pets across the U.S. with nose-to-tail accident and illness protection.
