Embrace is Amazing.

Embrace has been amazing. My new puppy has had issues all year from unknown allergy’s and a virus. I have submitted every claim online and received immediate responses every time. This last time was quiet expensive and in less than a week I received my reimbursement from my visit. This insurance company is amazing and I am so happy after researching many companies that I chose Embrace. I love this company and highly recommend.

If I could give negative stars I would

If I could give negative stars I would. One the communication is horrible. I have several claims that took almost a year to complete! A YEAR!?!?? I get it you need all the documentation before moving forward. Except you don’t communicate what documents and when I get the documents over to you promptly after talking with the vets. You still talk too long. I had one of the reps email me and say, “I read in the notes you told Banfield you didn’t want a wellness plan bc you had one already” and then asks me who it is!?!? Excuse me did you even look at my coverages to see I had wellness through you guys. Geeez maybe that’s why I didn’t want one through Banfield. Now I’m thinking I should had it through them instead. Absolutely horrible. Reply to their reply: First of all, all the emails you sent me where asking for mor medical records. I advised you multiple times, hey she’s a puppy. I gave you her records that the breeder gave me and you kept asking for more records. Your emails kept asking for a years worth! Lol this is almost comical. She was an 8 week old puppy. Seriously? I kept emailing you guys telling you this and I would get the same automated response. Don’t get me started on my other dog I have a claim open since April 2021 that’s supposed to be A WELLNESS VIST! He got his shots!!!!! They gave him anxiety medication because he was scared of them. Yet you send me the automated responses need 12 months of records. I have contacted his vet and they sent you everything, not sure what I need for a WELLNESS VIST. EMBRACE IS A JOKE. None of my friends nor family will get it. I am very vocal about it on Facebook.

My dog had a problem with her eye

My dog had a problem with her eye. I thought she was going to go blind as she was bumping into things and couldn't find her food or doors. She was sent by her Vet to an opthalmoligist for tests and it was an infection in her cornea and she had to have medications and drops and return in 2 weeks. Within 2 days she was seeing really well again but the infection was not completely healed. We went again this week and the eye is healed and she only needs drops until her next visit in 3 months. I was very pleased with the amount that Embrace paid for her visits and also their customer service when I called with some questions.

I’ve never had pet insurance on any of…

I’ve never had pet insurance on any of my animals(and I’ve had a lot of animals!). About 2 years ago I got a English Chocolate Labrador, who I love to pieces but she is a nut! My vet talked me into getting insurance on her “just in case”, and good thing I did! She recently blew out her ACL! I had no idea how the insurance was going to work and figured it would take months to get reimbursed, but wow was I wrong! The people at Embrace explained everything to me and even helped me do the claim so that I could make sure it would be approved! She had the surgery and it was so easy filing and the response back from them was quick!! Highly recommend Embrace, they’ve been amazing!!

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
