Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

Embrace Pet Insurance, which was recommended by my veterinarian, is an excellent company. They process claims quickly and are very fair in their coverage/reimbursement decisions. As an added plus, as a USAA member, I received a discount on my premiums. Could not be happier with Embrace.

This insurance company is absolutely amazing to work with. They have several easy ways to submit claims and check status. Their phone app is very easy to use. When customer support reaches out to you they are very friendly and makes you feel like they genuine concern in stressful times. Feels like part of the family. Would strongly recommend! Making a claim with this company through the app is so easy!! You can then checkup on the status at anytime of the day with 1 click! Very communicative, and fast! Love this company for my dog!

It is very hard to get a reimbursement of services. I had 2 of my frenchies insured and needing surgeries. One of the reasons they denied a claim was that my dog was not seen in a vet for over a year so therefore it is classified as a pre existing condition. We just relocated to another state and had no immediate need to bring my dog to the vet. They are house dogs, they don't leave my property. I went on BBB to see this is a big issue with Embrace. They take a long time to contact you when submitting a claim as well. Every claim submitted gives the default response of "we need to contact prior vets for complete medical history" even though this is done in the preliminary coverage process. You are better off putting that money aside every month and getting a CareCredit card instead of paying for their insurance. This is what I am forced to do... 5K in debt later. Thx Embrace!

No matter what the situation brings when it comes to my two italian greyhounds, I know Embrace is there to get us through it. All I have to worry about is the health of my dogs without the financial burden associated with treatment and vet bills. In all the italian greyhound facebook groups I belong to (I think 11), I always recommend people buying new puppies make a smart choice and get Embrace Pet Insurance.
