Our claims for our dog have been easy…

Our claims for our dog have been easy to file and reimbursement has been rapid and seem less. The claim payment rational has been appreciated and we know what is covered and what is not and it is all in line with the product we paid for without exception.

Not timely on payout

The reason I went with this pet insurance is because I had a good relationship with Geico. I thought they would have the same rapid response to my concerns with my pet, however that's not been the case they said it should take about 30 days and it's been 7 weeks without any feedback. The reason people get put insurance so they won't be left with a big hospital bill that they may not be able to afford.

So happy I purchase pet insurance for my fur babies. Highly recommended per owners to do the same. Affordable and well worth your fur babies wellbeing. Pet's are a huge part of the family,so everyone should treat them as such.

NEVER filed a claim in over 2 years

Update- I finally filed a $45 claim and they have it on old waiting to review the last 7 years of my pets vet records. It’s been over 2 years for you to review the records but you only do so once someone finally files a claim???? NEVER filed a claim in over 2 years. Policy is now renewing and they almost doubled the monthly rate. Called and asked why they would double the rate when I never even filled a claim. Rep said the rate will go up 25-35% EVERY year on average and this year was just much more. Wow. How is a 25-35% increase every year sustained for anyone.

Embrace customer for life

Embrace customer for life. Super easy to submit and file a claim and made it through with no issues. It’s already a very stressful time with my pupper being I hired but not having to hassle or go back and forth with an insurance company is such a blessing. Very grateful I chose this insurance company.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
