Complete waste of money and time

Complete waste of money and time. Totally ripped me off. Every time we submitted a claim it was rejected for more information. There were more hoops to jump through and more waiting periods. I had zero confidence they would ever pay out a single claim. Canceled and only got a partial refund. RUN from this company. *** Embrace replied below. For background — we spoke to 2 levels of customer service and several emails back and forth and they were neither helpful nor apologetic. Their goal is to find any reason to block, delay and deny claims. They would not give us a full refund and were utterly unhelpful. (2 dogs under my husbands last name).

Lack of Effort and Follow Through

We submitted our first claims, and instead of following up with the clinics to gather more information they had to be prompted to actually communicate with the clinics. We were actually going to go to the vetinary clinic ourselves to collect the health records. They told my husband they have an issue with the original paperwork submitted for us to originally get him covered which when they issued the policy and we started paying ironically they had no issue with. We have not been notified of any attempts on their part to reach out to the clinic to obtain information since my husband spoke to them last week. If there is resolution of this issue I'm open to updating my review, as of now I would not recommend this company.

Glad I got the insurance!!

I used my pet insurance for the first time and it was a very easy process. I kind of wish before they made payment they would have given me the option to add my direct deposit info first so they could have sent to my bank instead of mailing a check. I think it was in the email saying that a check would be sent out that they said I could add my bank info for future reimbursement to be direct deposited. Regardless I’m happy with the coverage for when my cat had an upper respiratory infection. Thanks! Update-they did make my reimbursement via direct deposit and it already hit the account. That is fantastic to have done that even though I added my bank after realizing that they didn’t have it yet. Thanks for exceeding my expectations!

They take 2 months to review claim even…

Be careful with this insurance charging thousands of dollars with your credit cards. They use preexisting condition to deny almost every claim. You will be stuck paying this bill for years to come. We got sick of their misleadingly confusing reason to deny almost all claims that we canceled then a week after our dog got sick & bills closed to $8K so they dodged another claim to deny to pay. We tried to give it another chance thinking maybe some will get covered. In the almost 2 years I’ve been with this insurance they never paid any of my claims. We took our dog 2 months ago to the ER & submitted the claim $3k & took 2 months as usual it’s denied. They take 2 months to review claim even through all the records are all provided only to deny.
