I’ve heard people complain that pet…

I’ve heard people complain that pet insurance doesn’t reimburse them, but I had a smooth claims reimbursement experience. I read the fine print when signing up, and my contract was followed perfectly. Hoping I won’t need to submit another claim with them, but if I do, I know I’m in good hands.

First time I had to use my policy

First time I had to use my policy. It was a major surgery for my dog of 3 years old. To file the claim it was super easy. Communication back of them receiving my claim was super fast. Receiving my payment was really quick into my account. This is the best company for pet insurance, I have friends that are probably going to switch to Embrace, they had nightmare experiences with theirs. Don’t hesitate to grab this pet insurance.

Great pet insurance!

Really loved using Embrace for my pet insurance.Never had any problems as they reviewed my claims and within a few days paid me what I had coming. I tried to keep my monthly costs down and opted for the 70 percent reimbursement plan and it worked for me. I currently have no pets so Im not in need of pet insurance right now but going forward if I have a need again I would surely choose Embrace and would recomend to anyone who asks.

Switching insurance

I have had an awful time with my illness claims! The wellness is incredibly quick and easy but illness claims take forever. I had to call them so many times to get my claim through all because errors on their behalf. They claimed my claim was prior to the waiting period but my waiting period was long over before that. It was ridiculous.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
