How to Save on Veterinary Costs at West Side Veterinary Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

They are truly skilled, compassionate and understanding here. They are also wonderful at explaining options, procedures and any potential risks to help pet owners make educated decisions.

I really cannot say enough good things about this place. The staff is incredible; kind, patient, knowledgeable. I was really scared when I brought our 12 yo domestic short hair kitty in because she’d lost some weight. Everyone was so kind to her and the vet even had her purring while he examined her. They were helpful and informative with their prognosis and I would highly recommend taking your animals here.

Dr Kim and her staff are amazing. Recently they were there for me when my beloved Tito passed away. They are so kind and loving. Thank you!

When our Hill Country getaway was interrupted by an apparent UTI in our senior dog, we looked to Google to see if we could find a nearby vet with good reviews. West Side was only 15-20 minutes away, and it sounded good. We were lucky that there was a mid-morning cancellation, and they were able to work us in. Dr. Warren met us at the car, ready to collect some urine to confirm our suspicion. They had gotten in touch with our regular vet and knew about our dog's background and history. After a few minutes she came in to confirm our suspicion with a good explanation and a photo from the microscope. She provided antibiotics and by the end of the day our dog was recovering well. We were so impressed with the clinic and staff. Dr. Warren and the team were real friendly and understanding. Dripping Springs is fortunate to have them, and we'd love to have them as our regular vet.

Wanted to find a Vet that was more one on one with my pets and I. My old place in town seemed more rush in and out and they missed a few things. WestSide is our new home!
