I had the most positive experience at this pet hospital. The staff are so kind, understanding, and knowledgeable. It really feels like they truly love what they do and genuinely care about your pet. I couldn’t ask for better service. My fur baby required surgery and I was devastated but I was so well informed that I felt really comfortable putting my pet in their care. They answered all my questions and were super helpful even post surgery when I called in with random questions. Thank you so much for the effort and love that you give to the animals ❤️❤️❤️ you are all amazing ⭐️

My cat Ginger is a patient at Northview Pet Hospital and has been with the practice for some time now. Dr. Buday and the entire team at Northview has always treated Ginger, and myself with the most amazing respect and dignity. I brought my dog here because she had a lump. They told me it was probably cancer and I'd have to pay over $600 to have a biopsy done. This was during covid closures and I wasn't working so I said I wanted to think about it. The vet put the fear in me saying if I waited too long the tumour would grow and it would be worse. I was sooo upset and traumatized thinking my dog had cancer because that's what I was lead to believe. I called back a couple of days later and no one returned my phone call. I called back the following week to go over what my options were, and again they told me I'd have to do the biopsy to figure out what the lump was and if it was malignant if it was a tumour, or go see an oncologist, or wait it out. I asked if there were other options and if the lump could be anything else, but they insisted these were the only recommendations from the vet. I went elsewhere to get a second opinion, where the vet knew right away it was just a cyst and removed it for $22 + an exam fee. So... I'd like to think vets are humane and wouldn't take advantage of people when it comes to their beloved fluffy family members. But for that to be true, then this vet didn't have the experience to know the difference between a tumour and a cyst. I'd like to think that was true and she wasn't just trying to make $$$ off my worry for my little doggie, especially trying to do such a horrid thing while we're all dealing with the brutal realities of covid and how its affected society, individuals, and the economy. But either way, are those the hands you want to entrust your loved pets to? Oh, and I've been going here for a few years. I now do question all the diagnoses they've given my dog. I did give them 2 stars because at least they're polite.
