Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

This vet squeezed us in on a busy Saturday when our usual vet was closed. Our lovely doodle had an abscess that had burst and needed to be seen ASAP. This vet was our saving grace. He is now, thankfully, resting comfortably and on the mend.

Best vet I’ve ever been to, friendly, warm and caring service with fair prices. I didn’t feel rushed and was given multiple treatment options without any pressure - my dog is a large rescue and quite anxious in those kinds of settings. My vet and the tech handled her perfectly. Won’t be going any where else from now on. Oh and they helped me reunite a dog I found downtown with its owner about six months ago and were quick & helpful in that process which is what convinced me to try them out. Thanks team

FIRST AND LAST TIME! Brought my boxer here and they almost killed my dog. They put the muzzle to tight and she couldn't breath and she passed out and they didn't even apologize or acknowledge it. My dog wasent even aggressive either. They acted like she was pit bull but I had papers claiming she was a boxer.

In a world of tightening profit margins and ever increasing demand for staff, I strongly strongly urge you to advocate for you own pets health. It is crucial you leave nothing to assumptions, never feel rushed, and never try to be "polite or helpful" by skipping something you'd consider a silly OR basic question/expectation. Miscommunication, broken telephone and ever changing staff reviewing the most recent broken telephone notes in your case can complicate and extend your pets treatment. You are paying for a medical opinion and licence to dispense your pet a medication. You are not paying for somebody to coordinate your pets care and advocate for pathways/continuity for them. That may be a goal, but it is no longer a practical reality. Review edited based on discussion with manager and acknowledgement of communication issues. Ethical issues are never intended to be compromised, but it is a reality that communication delays and errors can impact principles of do not harm and veracity.

They will deliberately overcharge you. Tried to charge $160 for a cat booster shot when the same booster shot cost $40 for the cat I took in a month previously. Also don't expect them to read your pet's chart and know their history, I saw them 4 times in 2 months and had to answer the same questions about diet and number of pets every time. I keep all my paperwork and the cost of an exam has doubled since 2016, while at the same time quality of service has halved. They have lost my business permanently.
