The best clinic hands down! Dr Gold really cares about his patients, as do all of the staff! We are always treated with kindness and care, and never feel rushed. Worth the drive from Toronto to bring my babies here for care and boarding.

Staff are super friendly and happy to help! Dr. Gold treats your pet as if its his own and provides wonderful and patient care. My pup is shy and anxious and he does great with Dr. Gold! We have been at this vet since I was child with my childhood dogs and I was eager to bring my new pup to here!

I can't put into words how grateful I am for the care given by the River Oaks staff. We recently lost our beloved cat, and despite the awful circumstances, Dr. Gold and his crew were amazing. I've been jaded by past vets and felt that I wouldn't ever be able to find a vet that I could trust until I came to Animal Hospital of River Oaks. While their prices aren't always cheaper than competitors, I believe that the service is honest and what I pay for is actually what I'm getting, unlike other vets. Dr. Gold personally called me and explained test results, I never felt rushed when at my appointments and he would always find a way to fit us in, even if we booked last minute, and never charged us extra for it. The vet techs are also amazing as well. I have mostly interacted with Cara and she has been super helpful and kind, has given me excellent advice and is just all around a pleasant personality. I don't know the other staff by name but they have all been delightful. I am very happy to have found River Oaks and I think if you are looking for a vet who genuinely cares about your pets, please check out River Oaks.

We’ve been taking two generations of Westies to Dr. Gold and his amazing staff. He’s compassionately guided us through all the ailments, serious issues, and even death. He is extremely kind and knowledgable and I’ve always had total confidence that he would help him solve whatever problems came up, and there have been many. I wish there were more than five stars I highly recommend taking your pet here.
