How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Oakridge Animal Clinic
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I have been taking my cockapoo here for five years and have had five years of wonderful service! Hazel has had many health issues that the Oakridge team has taken good care of! On one days notice, they were able to get Hazel an appointment, gave me a discounted exam fee, and include a cute note on Hazel’s medicine bag. I highly recommend taking your pets here! The staff really care about making your animals (and you) feel better!

Dr Jennifer Gray is awesome and Dr Lee as well. All the staff are pretty great too(Hannah and others)... They go out of their way for dogs with special needs. Grizzly liked Dr Jenn on his first visit, and liked her even more on his second! Grizzly has high Anxiety and some fear aggression issues, and Oakridge treats him like he is a Superstar!!!

I have been taking my fur babies to Oakridge Animal clinic for 10+ years. From new puppies to end of life care which no one ever wants to face, the team at Oakridge are just the best. I have appreciated their team’s kindness, initiative to follow up on health needs and of course their expert to advice. And a huge shoutout to Dr Wells who provided the best love and care to my cat in the final stages of her life. Can’t recommend this vet more highly!

They take amazing care of my senior kitties! They never push me to do anything and never judge. They truly care about patients and making them as comfortable as possible. I never have to wait long with my nervous kitty in the waiting room. Best vet I've ever had! Dr Moffat is also extremely knowledgeable and gives great advice! My babies are so healthy thanks to them ❤️❤️❤️

Not very welcoming and friendly when I contacted by email with some general questions about becoming a new client. Also some expensive fee's and long wait times. 1-2 weeks in advance when booking a sick animal for any reason, seems way too long and I would suggest putting a pause on accepting new patients.
