How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Gloucester Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

This clinic now has 2 new veterinarians. We just took our shiba Kaly in to see Dr. Lanre Odusote and were so impressed! He was so kind and caring with Kaly and was very good at explaining things to us. I would highly recommend this clinic to anybody that has a pet.

This was my first visit to your hospital and I was very happy with the reception and with the wellness check of my cat. I'm looking forward to future visits. Thank you for your care of Strudel including the rabies shot and clipping his nails, and for answering all my questions about food, his meds and dental care so I can try and keep him healthy and happy. This is a picture of him conked out after the visit:)

After reading such great reviews I was eager to take my new puppy here. Unfortunately I was shocked when I called to ask if they were accepting new patients as I required a wellness check for my pup and the receptionist said ‘ugh! I wish breeders would stop recommending these!’. She then went on to tell me how busy they were and would not be able to accommodate us due to staff holidays. Fortunately I called another local vet who congratulated me on my new puppy and accommodated us no problem without making me feel like an inconvenience to them.

Mostly just went to confirm my parents cat really was as loud as they said. She was. Nothing to do with the vets themselves. She's just bitey. Vets here are good, they clearly love their work and all the cute critters they see. My cat Spitfire loves them.

Greeted with smiles and friendly staff, this place and their staff are wonderful. Even in times of despair and sadness when I had to let my girl go, they were very empathetic and supportive to me and showed my dog the most loving and professional care. I have taken my dogs here for the past 20 years and will gladly continue to do so. ❤️🐾
