Looking for quality, attentive, supportive, vet care? Look NO FURTHER. I am beyond grateful to have come across Southpaw Vet when I first moved to San Diego. I've been bringing my dog here for the past two years and have nothing but amazing things to say about all the staff here. Everyone is beyond friendly and makes sure pet parents are well-informed throughout their visit. All vets and techs are welcoming and create a warm, calm environment when attending to your pet. My dog has gone through a lot of issues this year and as you can imagine, has led to an overwhelming amount of bills, stress, and time off from work. Through it all, the team has continued to show me incredible support and reassurance, making each visit feel less daunting and more manageable. While their costs can sometimes be a bit higher than a typical vet, the value truly comes through in how they work with you, listen to your concerns, and go the extra mile to support both you and your pet. I want to personally give a BIG shoutout to all the ladies at reception and Dr. Skinner, who are always so quick to respond to any questions, inquiries, or concerns. I truly don’t know how I would have kept it together without you all. Because of your support, I can make the best decisions for my dog with confidence and peace of mind.

I loved my experience at SouthPaw! My shepherd mix, Lola, had a cactus thorn stuck in her tongue and Dr. McCallick and Andrea took the best care of us! Yearly shots all administered and they made sure to make both me and Lola comfortable during the whole visit! Quick and easy scheduling and they were able to get us in next day!

Leo’s visit to Southpaw Vet was such a positive experience. The clinic was clean and welcoming, and the entire staff was so kind and attentive. It’s not often you find a vet where your pup actually enjoys being there, but this is definitely one of them!

We absolutely love our visits with Dr. Mayne. She provides us with very helpful information and is very thorough. The staff is always so loving and passionate for the care they provide. You all are really the bet vet in San Diego! Thank you for caring for our furbaby!

Southpaw is an incredible vet practice. They have been so kind to us and helped us through an extremely emotional time with one of our cats. The entire team is so knowledgable and loving. I felt that Southpaw genuinely cares for my pets and treats them as they would their own. Southpaw has helped us through a lot in the last year and they were incredible. 100/10
