Wonderful Doctor and the loveliest of staff. Somehow they manage to trim our Pug's nails to perfection, a feat in itself. We are so grateful to their caring approach to all our pups.

Very professional and friendly staff. Took the dog there for a consultation, she was very well taken care of. Highly recommended.

I first came to Acadia because my cat was vomiting on a regular basis and scratching herself raw. The previous vet I went to never offered me any explanation or solution to the problem, except doing blood work, steroids and antibiotics each time I brought her in. And when I asked how I can determine the cause of the itching, the previous vet said I can do a $800 allergy test to find out which I later found out it is completely not reliable and can have a lot of false positive results. It was Dr. Korthauer who actually helped and started my cat on food allergy trials. Which I understand is a long, frustrating, and annoying process with very little money to be made. Whenever I think my cat might need extra diagnostic test to rule out other problems, Dr. Korthauer would calmly reassure me her symptoms are consistent with food allergies and suggest to wait and see if it improves. He never once tryed to push for unnecessary tests or procedures. Whenever my cat have a new or emergent problem, the Acadia team have always been able to fit me in for appointments and I feel like I can give them a call about anything. I trust Dr. Korthauer and Acadia team completely with my pet's care.

We are visiting from out of town, and needed to have some stitches removed from our dog who had had an operation 12 days ago. When we phoned around to a number of vets n Vancouver, they all stated that they would have to conduct a full exam since they didn't know the dog. She just had a full exam since she had just been operated on, can't you call her vet I would ask? Apparently not. I finally called Acadia Veterinary Clinic who where very helpful. They called our vet for our dogs records, were able to removed the stitches based on an Exam Recheck which makes sense since Dr. Mathew Korthauer had to exam the area and remove the stitches. We were very happy with the service provided at Acadia.
