I opted to use Dr. Karen’s services after reading all these amazing reviews to send my absolute best friend over the rainbow bridge on Tuesday. This was by far the absolute hardest decision I have ever made but I am happy I chose the at-home option versus an unexpected ER visit with a bad ending. Dr. Karen is so kind and compassionate. My boy Bowser ran right up to her and greeted her, so I knew he was comfortable having her here. She discussed all of my options for cremation and aftercare with me. She explained the process to me in a very caring way. Bowser passed peacefully in his sleep in his favorite blankie on his bed at home with me laying right beside him. This has truly been the worst week of my life, but knowing I could give him such a peaceful end has given me a great sense of comfort. Thank you so much Dr. Karen for the work you do. This meant the absolute world to me.

Karen came to our home to help us put our dog, Mya, to sleep. She made one of the hardest days and decisions more manageable and made us feel comforted in a time of grief- you can tell she deeply cares about her clients and their beloved pets. She was very responsive with all of our needs and gave us extra time to say goodbye. On top of our girls ashes, pawprint copies and hair clippings, she also gave us a heartfelt card and painted rock to remember our sweetheart by. Thank you so much Karen!

I cannot express the gratitude I have for Dr. Karen and what she does. Marley was my companion and friend for 14 years. It was the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make and I am so grateful for being able to do this in my home on the deck in her favourite spot. Dr. Karen is kind, compassionate and when I received my Marley’s remains back she had included a beautiful card, a writing about the rainbow bridge and a hand painted rock with Marley’s name . The attention to detail and compassion shown by Dr. Karen was above and beyond. The cost was far less than I had anticipated and comparable to a in vets office euthanasia but far more comfortable and gentle for Marley…priceless. Dr. Karen did not try and sell or upsell things but rather was clear about the procedure and what was available and the costs. She was kind and gentle with Marley and having this option of being done at home also provided closure for her cat siblings and a safe, peaceful and comfortable place for Mar. Dr. Karen gave all the animals and us as much time as we needed and nothing ever felt intrusive, or rushed, but rather more like a family member being with us. It’s takes a brave soul with a heart full of compassion and love to do this type of work and Dr. Karen will no doubt have special spot among the stars.

I'm very grateful for Dr. Karen. She made a very difficult time much easier on me. She's very kind, diligent, and ensures your pet is absolutely comfortable for their journey across the rainbow bridge. She took extra time to ensure I was comfortable and being able to have her come to the home made my boys journey easier as well. I couldn't imagine taking him to the vet after having home service.. I chose to get him cremated and she delivered him back home with a lovely message, cards, a painted rock and a whole lot of love. It's clear to see she has a love and passion for all animals. She's truly caring. I'll be sharing my experience with anyone that has to go through this with a furry member of their family, and recommending Dr. Karen to help out. Her prices were comparable to having the experience at the vet and she provides far more value in my opinion. Thanks again, and thank you for providing such a needed service with such grace. It's hard enough to lose your pet, let alone having to make the choice to say goodbye then have to drive home after. It's awful. Dr. Karen came to our home so our old man kitty Salem, 21.5 yrs old, could go peacefully in his bed and we could have as long of a goodbye as we needed. Though, forever still wouldn't be long enough. She has a wonderful demeanor and is very compassionate. If you're faced with this heartbreaking circumstance, I highly recommend reaching out to her.
