Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Have taken my cat here a few times. The staff and my experiences here were phenomenal! Very happy with Dr. Vandergraaf - she is thorough, explains each process and have been super great with my fur baby. Highly recommended!

I had to take my cat in to say Goodbye at the end of October. All of the staff, from reception who had to take my call to the vet who administered the medication were compassionate, and understanding. They made the process as seamless as possible.

This vet overcharges their customers substantially. They charged my mother $45 dollar per pill for a dog dewormer !! And my personal Vet only charges $20 a pill .This is so wrong, my mother won’t be going there anymore. This vet does not care about your animals, they are just out to make as much money off you as possible!!

I would really appreciate it if they were upfront about cost. Even as I book an appointment, tell me how much it is. I booked an appointment for my dogs ears, knowing that there would be a vet charge. They took her back, swabbed her ears and told be it's about $120 for ear medicine. I said that was fine. What they didn't tell me was that it was $95 to swab her ear. So I was expecting around $200 even under $300,and I got a bill for $450. You need to be telling clients how much you are charging before you do it. I would have not been so upset if I was expecting that price. Also... I'm sorry but what if I didn't have the money? They were all friendly and nice but I need more transparency.

We have been coming here for over 20 years now (wow I can’t believe it’s been that long!) and I can’t say enough good things about this clinic. We saw Dr Marty with our family dogs growing up, and I bring my dogs to him or Dr Jesse now. They are incredibly patient and understanding with my reactive boy, and give him the space and encouragement he needs for a positive visit. If anyone else has a reactive dog they know the headaches it can bring, but I trust that the team here always supports us with whatever we need. All I need to do is call ahead, and they make sure the waiting area is clear and then let me bring my dog directly to the room to avoid him getting overstimulated. The vets here will also give you different options based on the situation, and your budget - they won’t upsell you on unnecessary tests. I fully trust that if Dr Jesse says we should consider bloodwork, an ultrasound, etc. that he believes it’s necessary. I also very much appreciate that if they’re unsure about something they are honest about it, and will do everything they can to get the information from specialists, or refer you to one.
