How to Save Money at Trinity Hills 24 Hour Pet Hospital
Schedule Regular Vet Visits
One of the best ways to save on vet bills is to prevent expensive health issues before they develop. By scheduling regular wellness checkups, your vet can detect health issues early, helping you to avoid costly treatments and surgeries down the road.
Price Shop for Pet Prescriptions
Oftentimes our fur babies are prescribed human drugs off-label. Your vet is apt to charge more for these medications than you would pay at your local pharmacy. In fact, big-box or chain pharmacies can offer steep discounts. So it’s best to price shop.
Pet Insurance
Most pet insurance providers will pay between 80% and 90% of the vet bill. You can even get coverage for routine care and things like vaccinations and dental cleanings. If you do the math, you’ll most likely find that pet insurance makes financial sense in the long run as well as gives you peace of mind.

Get Quotes & CompareGetting to Know Your New Vet: Essential Questions to Ask
Choosing a new veterinarian is an important decision for any pet owner. You want to find someone who is competent, compassionate, and a good fit for you and your fur baby. To help you get the most out of your first appointment, here's a list of essential questions to ask your new vet:
Tell me about your experience with [pet type].
Different vets have different areas of specialization. Some are experts with cats, some dogs, some pocket pets, and some horses. Knowing that your vet has vast experience treating your specific type of pet can bring you peace of mind.
How do you handle emergencies?
You must know what to do in case of a pet medical emergency. Inquire what after-hours policy the clinic has, whether they have on-site emergency care available, and if they have a relationship with any nearby emergency animal hospitals.
How do you communicate with pet owners?
Good communication is key to building a trusting relationship with your vet. Ask how they prefer to communicate (phone calls, emails, online portal) and how often you can expect to hear from them.
Are there any breed-specific health concerns I should be aware of?
Some breeds are predisposed to certain health conditions. Knowing what to watch out for can help you catch problems early and get your pet the treatment they need.
Do you have any questions for me about my pet?
This is a great question to ask because the answer will show that the vet is interested in getting to know your pet as an individual and is willing to listen to your concerns.
Bonus question: Can I take a tour of your facility?
Getting a feel for the clinic's environment can help you and your pet feel more comfortable during your visits. Remember, you’re not just looking for a veterinarian, you’re looking for a partnership. Do not be afraid to ask these questions and any others you can think of. Any vet worth their salt will be happy to answer them. Because the more informed you are, the better equipped you'll be to make decisions about your pet's care! And that should be every vet’s top priority.
Reviews from Google
I’d like to express my sincere gratitude to Dr. Heather Suttie and her amazing compassionate team at Trinity Hills Pet Hospital. I’ve been managing my sweet boy Ernie’s chronic kidney disease over the past two years and unfortunately he took a turn for the worse over the long weekend and my regular vet clinic was closed. I walked in and was expecting to have to wait to see a vet but we were admitted right away. The high level of compassion and care that was provided to us was very heartfelt and will never be forgotten.

I came to the 24 Hour Pet Hospital because my regular vet had no available appointments, and my dog had developed a nasty eye infection. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They took care of my pup right away, and the doctor was amazing—explained everything in detail so I knew exactly what was going on. They gave me the medication my dog needed, and I'm so grateful for their prompt and compassionate care. Highly recommend this place for anyone needing urgent pet care!

To the amazing team at Trinity, My Husband and I don't have enough words to thank you for all you did for us during such a difficult time saying goodbye to our beloved Chowder... To feel such love, support and care from all of you - strangers really - is overwhelming and so heartwarming. Knowing you truly care for these furry family members is such a gift, and we can't thank you enough. After such an awful experience at a VCA clinic closer to our home, we were so glad we made the drive to Trinity, trusting our vet - Dr.Wendy's recommendation. The whole team at Trinity should be proud to work at a truly caring, compassionate clinic. We won't go anywhere else in the future if this is the kind of care we can be sure to receive. Sending lots of love and hugs. We can't thank you enough.

Even at my worst point, I felt nothing but support and care from Trinity Hills Vet Hospital. Last month my sweet indie couldn’t breathe, and we had to rush her to the hospital. from the minute I stepped into the clinic, they met me at the door, and I immediately felt at ease. I knew they were going to take care of her and love her as much as I do. Through every step of the way I was supported and I couldn’t thank your team enough. Early morning voicemails and nighttime calls, along with pictures of my indie helped more than you know. Sadly my indie lost her battle and we had to say goodbye to her one last time. I was terrified, but knew myself, along with indie, was in the best hands we could be. I never felt judged or rushed, just felt support, care, genuine concern, and comfort. I always dreaded that day, but when it came, I knew your team did everything they could and gave her all the love I would have if I was there. saying goodbye was peaceful, and I appreciated it so much that they allowed my other dog to come and say goodbye to our sweet girl too. from the bottom of my heart, and my family we thank you. I will recommend your hospital to everyone, and am still moved by the compassion your team showed. today I received a card signed by your whole team, sending their condolences and giving comforting words. I will hold onto that card forever. every time I read it, the pain I feel is enveloped by your team's empathy. I wish I could hug every single one of you, you’re all incredible. I can’t imagine how difficult it must be working and seeing families go through these situations. I commend you all and wish you all the best, and more. I am forever grateful for your kindness. I will never forget the warmth and concern your team showed for my family. thank you ♥️

I'm so grateful for this team who is available for my pets after hours. They were so good with my reactive dog when he got into a bunch of supplements and medications. Everyone was super professional and accommodating. I've also only heard good things from my clients who have used them. Would recommend.
