Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing

Having a sick pet is an incredibly stressful and emotional experience. The staff at Paramount were very compassionate and helpful in navigating our cat Evey’s illness. We really appreciated the daily updates from the doctors when Evey was hospitalized, we always felt like she was in good hands. The doctors were helpful in answering our many, many questions and we never felt rushed during our appointments. We were in and out of Paramount for 3 weeks and spent many hours in the waiting room so we appreciated how clean and modern the facility was. Towards the end of our journey we knew Evey was terminal but making the decision on when to let her go was SO difficult. When her health started to decline we returned to Paramount for a final visit and the doctor was helpful in advising us of our options and agreed that sending Evey to heaven was the best choice. I’ll miss my sweet angel forever but it does give me some comfort knowing that we did everything we could to save Evey in what we felt was a top tier facility. We received a very thoughtful sympathy card in the mail today, thank you for everything Paramount 🤍

Despite having to come here under unfortunate circumstances and leaving with an empty carrier, the staff was incredibly helpful and supportive during such a difficult time. It can be very hard to find a vet that will accept chinchillas in an emergency situation, and of all the vet hospitals we called at 12am (I think we called all of them), Paramount was the only vet that would accept us. Dr. Chappell was very informative, and supportive of us in making such a difficult decision, which I am very grateful for. Despite how inconsolable I was, everyone was so kind, patient, compassionate, and did not make me feel bad for how I was reacting in such a highly emotional situation. It was also very touching to receive a card signed by all the staff. Thank you for all that you were able to do for us that night❤️ On a more positive note, over the summer I also dropped off a stray kitten that I found outside, and the staff was very kind and was able to take the little guy in and keep him warm and fed before sending him off to the SPCA to be put up for adoption. Thank you for everything you do for these animals, even when it is not an ideal situation.

Another amazing visit to Paramount, The staff are always so caring and attentive, and treat my pup with so much care and love. Our dog had an injury swimming, and ended up having to get a couple of staples from a puncture wound. With our dog already in pain and under stress, they calmed her down and we were able to get everything done quick and painlessly. Don’t know what we would do without the entire staff at Paramount! Photo of the injury and photo of her relaxing after.

The front staff is so welcoming! Dr Heather and Katie took wonderful care of our cat when we walked in Saturday morning with a goopy eye. Sitting waiting our turn the staff welcomed everyone with friendly greetings. Listen attentively to their pet concerns. With a GP practise and ER practise now all pet care can be done with one great group of pet practitioners. Thanks for taking care of Eddys eye this morning.

I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, it's just a way to make you more anxious when there's an emergency. All the 5 stars are fake. When we arrived at the hospital, we were separated from our cat immediately. The cat was taken away without any update for almost two hours. They have a chart with three levels of urgency, but they didn't tell us what level our cat was in, so even if they wouldn't let us see him, they could have at least told us he’s urgency level, so we could know he is getting help now, or he is still waiting because his situation is not too bad. Also if the pets are waiting it will probably be better to wait together with their owners so both can feel less stress. I went to the front desk twice, and they just told me to wait, but they didn't give us any information, which made me even more anxious. There was even a period when no one was at the front desk and no one answered the emergency call. Finally, I got a little angry and asked what was going on we my cat, and they said friar that the tests were all done, and he was stable. But then, they said they still need to keep the cat under observation because the doctors haven't done any tests and they don't know anything. Anyway, what they are saying doesn’t make any sense. Lying and trying to fool you, then when I said I wanted to take the cat out now they threatened me and said the doctor didn't recommend it. (YOU JUST SAID THE DOCTOR DID NOT TAKE A LOOK so how can the doctor recommend anything) Lastly, the whole place feels uncomfortable, it’s too “rich” and big for a pet hospital. Like if they have already scammed a lot of people’s money to make it look luxurious. DO NOT COME HERE
