Went with a middle vote because as far as I'm concerned I know nothing yet about nation wide insurance except the process for purchasing was easy and good fair pricing and well as far as the rest further review is in order when time do. I'll keep you posted. And also it's been a little confusing on the billing section not sure when it's due.

They cover nothing
They cover nothing. Everything my puppy had done they did not cover. I can put the money I pay monthly in the bank. If my puppy needs a vet I’ll just use that money. I will say they do have great customer service and everyone I spoke with was very nice. My vet bill was well over a thousand dollars. They covered 121.00 of that bill.

I wish I had never switched from Nationwide pet insurance for our pet insurance- This has been a really negative experience- I suggest you consider an alternative. I swapped because I thought this would be a good option for a bit less per month, this was a mistake and we are switching back.

Claim handled quickly and received my reimbursement within a couple of days. Coverages are clear and easy to understand. Notably, my claim had services billed as a packaged deal, and unlike AKC pet Insurance (who deny coverage for anything included in "bundle/package" vet treatment deals), it was still able to be processed without needing to submit itemized invoices which is great.

Trupanion pet Insurance ensured my 12 year old dog got prompt and thorough care. He randomly developed a Gastric Dilatation-Volvulus late at night knowing we had insurance coverage for what ever the vet needed to do I was able to tell the Vet to do EVERYTHING they could do to save my babies life. He survived the sugery and was in the hospitals ICU for 2 days and 2 nights. They covered everything!! We paid the emergancy vet fees, the deductible and 10%, Trupanion covered everything else including the perscription dog food and all the medications. I could not be any happier with the service we received from Trupanion . They saved my dogs life.

This company seems to take care of their customers, every time I submit a claim, they get back to me in a reasonable timeframe. It’s nice having a pet insurance company that I can trust and they seem to honor the policy without a bunch of hoops to jump through. Nice job.
