Trupanion was the best decision we made!
My dog is 6 years old now and has been pretty healthy most of his life. The times previously when we filed small claims Trupanion was always there as promised. When we foundout our dog had cancer that needed to be removed and the bills stacked up Trupanion was always by our side and quick to review our claims and issue cheques. Getting pet insurance through them was one of the best decisions we ever made.

What's the point?
What is the point of paying $200 a month for insurance do the past 3+years, and having a $300 deductable, when you don't pay out for emergency treatment???? My dog just had an emergency room visit that cost $600 and all you reimburse is $57 ... Why do I bother it is bullshit. The treatment he needed to make him better is not covered since when? Anti nausea medication, and fluids etc, you are happy enough to have taken over $7500 in the past 3+ yrs and have paid out nothing on two emergency room visits he has had. So tell me now why would I recommend you or carry on using your company?

Figo ins for my pet is simply…fantastic
Figo ins for my pet is simply terrific...they have an easy to use portal to file claims, have reminders of future appointments for my dog, as well as other doggie friends to connect with! They are fast in settling claims and I am so happy my dog is covered by this Figo ins to keep her happy and healthy!

My dog had his annual wellness check ups which he passed With flying colors I emailed the vets comprehensive report to Figo and was quickly reimbursed without any hassles.

Payment options are very limited with…
Payment options are very limited with Spot Insurance, which is very disappointing. At the very least, one should have the option to pay via bill pay from their own bank. I, like so many others, perform the bull of our payments this way so as to avoid late payments (setting up a recurring schedule) while maintaining full control of withdrawals. This is a disgrace that I have to hand over control of my funds to Spot to either deduct an amount from my checking account or credit card. No thank you. I will logon every month on or by the due date & make a one-time payment. Other than that, we haven’t even used our insurance yet. We’ll see if there are any other companies with modern payment options while being competitive and make our move then.

DO NOT USE FETCH FOR PET INSURANCE
DO NOT USE FETCH FOR PET INSURANCE! Waste of time and money. I submitted a claim well over a month ago when they said they needed the last 2 years of soap notes (initially only needed last healthy visit which I gladly sent), I called my vet, she hasn’t had to go to the vet so they have literally nothing except the initial documents I submitted. I called Fetch and spoke to someone who called over to claims and told them they have nothing, PROMISED me I would hear back about my claim with 2-5 business days, it’s been 2 weeks and still nothing. I am infuriated for so many different reasons at the pure lack of respect for your customers.

Great Value for the Money
No matter the issue, there is always someone available who knows the answer. I really appreciate the lifetime deductible concept. Claims are super easy to file. I have giant breed dogs, so their bills are giant too. No matter what the issue, Trupanion representatives have always been able to help with questions. Great customer service!

Useful App, Easy Claims, & Informative
I gave Lemonade a shot because my bf heard about it on his podcast, I'd been looking for pet insurance and the task was daunting with so many different types and price points. This was my first dog so I didn't really know what to expect. Lemonade has made my life so much easier, easier than I thought insurance would be. The app is extremely easy to use when filing a claim. Every interaction I have had with the insurance agents filing my claims have been extremely helpful and they have all been very nice.
