This is our first time having pet insurance and I'm so glad we went with Trupanion. It's easy, quick and their customer service is excellent. Our very first claim only took 4 days and that because they had to gather records. Second claim took 2 days.

Our 2 year old lab ate a sock and had…
Our 2 year old lab ate a sock and had to have emergency surgery to remove it from her intestines. 24 hours later, she had a second more extensive surgery because her first intestinal surgical site leaked and she had a septic abdomen. It was a scary time for us. Having Trupanion in our corner allowed us to go forward with the treatments that saved her life!!!! We have been very pleased with the company and how easy it is to file a claim,how quick it is resolved and how nice the people we talked to were. Even asked us how our other dog was! Can't recommend enough! Have told so many folks about this company!! Thank you Trupanion for helping get our baby home.

Our invoice from the vet was not detailed enough….so Trupanion contacted them to find out exactly what was performed…..something I will watch going forward……It was all done so quickly and effectively! I’m the end we were given 90% back! I like that!!
