Best investment I’ve ever made!!
If you are on the fence about insurance for your pets DO IT!! Your pets WILL age and WILL have accidents. Do not be in a position where you have to make a terrible choice about saving your pet’s life. Trupanion has saved us so much money on our pets and they make it so easy with their software that is available for most vets and specialists. The rates are fair and the coverage is excellent. The reps are always so helpful and kind.. and the refund comes promptly. Getting my pets insured as puppies was the best decision we ever made.

Initially I struggled with getting the online quote and application to work on the website. It offered dog insurance but I couldn't figure out how to get a quote for a horse. Eventually, I figured it out and everything went smoothly from there. I'm pleased with the coverage options offered and the customer service has been very friendly. Glad I took this plan!

I was devastated when I was giving the news that my JRT Rosco had been diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer. I was extremely grateful to have insurance and was able to follow a treatment plan. Rosco went into remission for a few months he was doing amazing enjoying his life going for walks and visits. Unfortunately we lost the battle to Cancer. I only have great things to say about Trupanion the claims were submitted thru the online portal and within 48 hrs the funds were deposited back into my acct. The customer service staff were alway understanding and compassionate. When I called to inform a Trupanion that I had decided to let Rosco go as he was no longer in remission and I did not want to see him suffer The CSR informed me that the euthanasia would also be covered as this was due to the illness. Thank you Trupanion and you wonderful Team

So fast and simple and clear.
Piper was diagnosed with several mast cell tumours that had to be removed as soon as the veterinarian could get her in for the best result. We chatted with a customer service rep online and she walked us through eligibility, the forms, pre-approval and all the steps needed. Once preapproval was complete, which took no time at all, we were also informed of the steps once the actual surgery was done. We took Piper home on Monday, the day of surgery, submitted our claim on Tuesday and less that 24 hours later, the payment was approved and headed to us. I wish all insurance companies were as clear, quick and responsive. We still have results to receive and hopefully no further treatment or surgery, but are thankful for the respect, care and attention we received. It is not easy to watch your loved pet go through difficult times, pain and discomfort, but at least this process was painless and provided exactly what was expected from this first claim. We have been policyholders for 6 years and have not needed anything. You never really want to need the service, but when you do, it's good to know that Trupanion was there.

I recently lost my dog and I had to cancel her insurance. It didn't start until a few weeks out so I sent ASPCA an email asking what the policy was for the loss of a pet. It took them about four days to get back to me. One of the representatives of ASPCA Pet Insurance called me and said they cancelled my pets insurance and issued me a refund. They were so understanding and so very kind. I highly recommend ASPCA Pet Insurance. Thank you, ASPCA, for your kind and encouraging words in a difficult time.
