I love not having to worry to about my dog, if something happens she is covered and I won't have extremely high vet bills. This is a must if you are a pet owner.

Healthy Paws equals healthy dogs
After checking out multiple insurance companies for my new puppy, I decided on Healthy Paws. Boy, did I the right choice! They’ve kept in touch through the years with helpful articles and just always letting us know they were there for us. Our pup blew out her ACL recently. Instead of freaking out over how we were going to pay for this expensive surgery I knew we had coverage with our insurance. We had the freedom to work on getting Riley healthy without any worries. Healthy Paws even checked in on her progress a few days after surgery. It’s only a week and our payment is on its way. We couldn’t ask for anything more. Both of my dogs are on Healthy Paws and we love the feeling of security they give us.

We want to assure you that we review all claims and deductibles according to a pet’s medical records from their vet. And while we can’t help with illnesses or injuries that start before a pet’s plan does, this won’t affect their coverage for new and unrelated things that might come up in the future. If something is covered and once the deductible is met, we can help with related treatments without any caps or limits for life. Our team is always here to talk through your claims and coverage in more detail, and we’d like to offer any support or clarification we can. Take care, The Trupanion Team For my personal situation, my dog's illness began during your 30 day waiting period - other insurances only have a 14 day waiting period. Also, your insurance company counts EVERY single illness as a separate illness - even if it's for the same issue. Your insurance DOES NOT cover things appropriately. Lastly, when speaking with your team, I have not spoken with someone who is willing to actually listen to my frustration OR suggest any resolution. I have been told that "this is how it is AND we aren't going to fix anything" even after one of your employees told me that something would be covered and then another one told me that it wouldn't be covered. This insurance is awful - it is a scam to collect money.

The invisible friend
I have Trupanion insurance on all three of my animals. Two cats and our Loki, who is a pure bred Yorkie. You don’t think insurance until you are standing at the Vets office. Then Trupanion is there for you to help pay the bills. It’s your friend always there to help!

So grateful for Healthy Paws. The claims department is quick and attentive, I waited less than a week for my reimbursement. I don't know what we would have done without pet insurance; I am grateful that we didn't have to weigh our dogs health against our finances. I could not recommend healthy paws more!

Breed list too short!
Easy site to access! BUT 1 problem - the list of breeds is short and my horse isn't any of these. Shouldn't there be an "other" or fill in the blank? I picked TB because that is the closest, but still!
