Financial lifesaver for active dogs!
I've been a Healthy Paws customer since 2017. My dog Barley has had multiple big health scares over that time, but Healthy Paws has always been SO easy to work with! Barley swallowed a stick and needed big emergency abdominal surgery in 2019. It was a huge relief to know that Healthy Paws had my back with that expensive surgery, and I knew I could afford the diagnostics to keep him super-healthy. If I didn't have insurance I may have skipped some of the diagnostics! Then this summer Barley was bitten by a brown recluse spider. He ended up needing MONTHS of physical therapy, diagnostics, and debriding on a necrotic wound. Healthy Paws was there to help support me financially through all of that, which was a HUGE relief. I'd probably be financially ruined without Healthy Paws this summer.

There When We Needed Them The Most
We purchased pet insurance because we never wanted to be in a position to have to choose between our pet's health and the cost of major health issues. We chose Healthy Paws because of its reasonable premiums, fast claims turnaround, and easy to understand policy. When our dog was unexpectedly diagnosed with cancer, Healthy Paws lived up to our decision to choose them. I would highly recommend pet insurance and Healthy Paws is our #1 choice!!!

Our Daschund Klaus was diagnosed with congestive heart failure 18 months ago. From the onset , Trupanion was on board to take care of the financial burden of the veterinary and drug bills. Klaus had several hospitalizations and procedures during his illness and the cost was several thousand dollars. Trupanion covered the bills as they had promised from the beginning. Klaus has now left us but along with the good memories of him, I also remember what a relief it was to have someone covering the bills.
