The fine print makes it worthless
In my opinion, this company is incompetent and verging on fraudulent. Their promotional material says that their plan "covers new accidents and illnesses." That's not true. They do not cover veterinarian charges, which are the bulk of what you pay if your pet is ill or injured. This is incredibly misleading and makes their insurance policy almost worthless. One day later: It's nice to see that Healthy Paws is monitoring this, even on a US holiday. Because you've engaged, here are a couple of hypothetical situations for you to answer: 1. Insured pet is injured and needs urgent care at a 24-hour vet. Bill has charges for the vet and for x-rays. What's covered? (Ignore deductible and co-pay - we know those will be paid by pet owner.) 2. Same situation, but pet needs surgery. Bill has charges for the vet, x-rays, and surgery-related items like drugs and disposables. What's covered? After you reply (of if you don't) I'll post the answers I got as a Healthy Paws customer.

ManyPets has been a lifesaver
ManyPets has been a lifesaver. I did a tooonnn of research on pet insurance and finally landed with them. I'm so glad I did. I have an 8-month-old puppy who eats things he shouldn't. We've had a potential obstruction (wasn't), an almost sago palm poisoning (he was fine), and an intestinal infection, all in the span of about 5 months. All visits totaled over $2,000. They covered every claim quickly and without issue. They offer a 100% reimbursement option, which is really really nice. The only downside I can think of is they pay by physical check. I wish it was a direct deposit situation. However, they're extremely quick, and the turnaround time is a week or two usually.

When reviewing my account I noticed my phone number was wrong. I sent an email to get it fixed and I didn’t get a response back. I called because I wanted to update my account to get preventive care covered and when I asked if they could change my phone number they were more then happy to do so. I greatly appreciated how quick the process took when I called.
