Avoid this pet insurance

Avoid this pet insurance. Incredibly overpriced, covers very little, and never worth it. You have to pay out of pocket and reimbursement takes a while. Look elsewhere before you're locked in with them.

💸 Waste of money.

💸 Waste of money. Embrace Pet Insurance premiums paid: almost three thousand $. My two dogs received: $0 (100% of claims were denied) Policy duration: 18 months When I filed claims with Embrace, nothing was covered. I wish I had just put aside the money I paid them in a saving account for my dogs. I would have come out ahead in terms of money, time, and emotional energy. Embrace has declined all of my claims for a variety of reasons, including the pre-existing condition of diarrhea. Some might consider that a non-specific symptom, not Embrace. USAA partners with Embrace, which is why I tried their pet insurance. I have been a longtime member of USAA and have been very well supported over the years. Embrace does not live up to USAA's of taking caring of customers in their time of greatest need. Needless to say, I have cancelled my policy for my dog who is living and will be seeking better ways to ensure her health needs are met.

Misters issues

My cat Mister has been having respiratory issues for a few months now with sneezing and reverse sneezing and Pets Best has been prompt and great to get me reimbursed for his Vet visits, anesthesia, CT scan, blood work, etc

Best Pet Insurance!

I have had Healthy Paws for about 6 years. I have 2 goldendoodles. Every time I have had a claim, large or small, they review and pay it out within days. No hassles. No denials. My youngest pup ate a toy a couple of weeks ago and had to have it removed at the ER. Final bill was around $4k, and I was reimbursed 90% of that (less my deductible) within about 5 days. I can’t say enough good things about them. Get when your pup is young, though. Made the mistake of waiting until my 2nd pup was almost a year old, and because he has already had an ear infection, any subsequent ear/skin infections are considered pre-existing and aren’t covered. Worth it to get them enrolled early.

The process is smooth enough.

The process is smooth enough. I just wish they would pay more for my preventative benefits since I pay over $60 a month , $720 a year. This doesn't seem cost effective for preventative benefits.

Enrollment was easy!

Monica was wonderful and really helped me get the right policy for Ridge. Turns out I saved money because he is a Mix breed and he is my Service Dog.

Every time my vet gives my dog meds

Every time my vet gives my dog meds, Pets Best shorts is on the reimbursement. They see multiple charges for the same meds and state that they met the max on one, but the dog is 165lbs and needs a clinical dosage, not the dosage of a mouse.

No problem submitting claims

I submitted my first claims for my pets and all went smoothly. There is some processing time, but that is to be expected.
