Support During Illness and Passing of my Pup
Fetch insured both of my GSPs, and sadly my girl of 13.5 years passed this past Sunday. Fetch handled all of my claims quickly and completely. When I called and spoke to Adam Altman today about cancelling her policy, he was compassionate and caring while also letting me know what to expect regarding the cancellation. We also spoke about my other dog Trypp's policy, and again Adam was very helpful and willing to spend time with me. Overall I give Adam and the others I've spoken with over time and Fetch itself a 5 star rating. ps - Shauna below had a policy with a deductible per illness. My policy was one annual deductible, and Fetch covered oncology, neurology and emergency services. Take the time to read your policy so you're not disappointed like Shauna.

Trupanion paid $4500 on my first vet bill of $6k!!!! So worth it!!!!!!!
My first vet bill after signing up for Trupanion coverage for my 2 small dogs ended up being $6000 for my older dog coming down with severe pancreatitis in March 2022 and needing emergency hospitalization for about 5 days. Trupanion ended up paying out about $4500 of that bill (if my deductible would have been zero dollars, but I had selected a higher amount) and now pancreatitis for my older dog will be covered for the rest of her life, no more deductibles for that issue! One payout from Trupanion covered 50 months of premiums for both dogs! Plus my older dog just had to be hospitalized again for the same thing a few days ago, but no worries about that bill from me, because of this insurance!

Spot has been incredible for me and my 2 cats Luna and Smokey. First of all, the customer service reps are the most helpful, kind people I've experienced before which is rare to find for an insurance company. Second, the claims and reimbursements have been EASY and FAST. I can't believe it took me this long to start getting insurance for my pets but wow am I glad I did. Claims denied for my 2 cats without reason
I took PetsBest out for mr 2 cats. One required hospitalization, testing and meds for a stomach obstruction, the other suffered UTI and testing plus meds. In all instances, PetsBest denied covering any part of the +$4.5K expense without even providing an explanation. It also took 26 days for them to communicate to me the claims were being denied. I canceled the plans. Poor response and false representation of what they say they cover.

Unfortunately this insurance company like most is a scam. You have to meet a deductible FOR EACH ISSUE. For example if your pet has urinary issues it’s a $450 deductible for urinary issues before they even pay a lousy 80%. Now if say 2 months later your animal goes in for stool issues that’s a whole separate $450 deductible. Meanwhile it starts out cheap to pay per month but as your pet ages your policy increases. Our cat is 10 and we’re now paying $80 a month for them to cover basically nothing. Ridiculous wouldn’t recommend. You’re better saving that money every month so when an issue arises you can pay it yourself.

It is very difficult to obtain the kind of records required for vet services, frequently they do not have a computer system that will provide the required bill of sale documentation. Therefore the claim is denied.
