Trupanion also reimburses lickety-split and does not nickel-and-dime their customers. We also love their policies about deductibles and 90% reimbursement for claims--and they don't make you start from scratch every year if it's the same cause for the claim.

Every Parent Needs Trupanion
I was present at my daughter’s birth 14 years ago and I’ve had a policy on her since she was 9 years old. We haven’t had use of it until she started having issues about three years later and Trupanion has helped curb the cost of her bronchitis treatment, pancreatitis, urinary infection, multiple ER visits, and allowed her to receive I-131 radiation treatment to cure her hyperthyroidism. Now she’s being hospitalized for a possible TIA and requires attentive care being provided at a hospital rated #4 best in the nation - all of the care she needs will be in excess of $10k but we only have to pay the $600/year + $400 deductible. $1k is a lot more feasible than $10k. This is her very best chance at recovery and having the finances covered means she can receive the very best care without cost being a factor. It doesn’t even matter that the vet requires payment up front and then Trupanion pays us back because I can just take out loans and have them all paid back when the claim is completed! Trupanion has and hopefully will continue to save my daughter’s life. Crème Brûlée deserves the world! Thank you, Trupanion, from me and the kittens!

DO NOT RECOMMEND
Highly do NOT recommend this pet insurance. Takes forever to process a claim because they keep asking for medical records even though they were already submitted. I've emailed several times that those were the full medical records, but they keep asking for more like labs and xrays. My dogs never needed those tests nor had them performed, yet they are still asking for them. My dogs also received vaccines from Seeaca and Humane Society. They still want those records from the time before joining. I called and the representative still asked for them. They do not even offer wellness plans, so I do not understand why they needed those vaccine records. I highly, HIGHLY DO NOT recommend Healthy Paws.
