My little 4 year old Cocker Spaniel had to have a Ruptured Disc Removed.

My little 4 year old Cocker Spaniel had to have a disc removed from his lower back. We had to travel out of state to see a specialist for his procedure. It was expensive. Embrace Pet Insurance paid for the entire surgery, sans a few hundred dollars. What a relief. Embrace is fast, efficient and very nice to work with. I can't say enough good things about them. I highly recommend them for your pet's insurance.

I wouldn’t have my dog Andy if It wasn’t for trupanion! He went in for what I thought was a UTI turns out It was a urethral obstruction at the age of 13 months. This was an emergency since he had not urinated in almost 24 hours. The emergency center said that It was not normal so they did a full body ultrasound and found a liver shunt that is common in small breeds such as miniature schnauzers. My bill was over 8,000$ and trupanion paid 90%… I only paid 800$. I wouldn’t have my baby if It wasn’t for trupanion. Now that I work at an animal hospital I always stress that trupanion SAVED MY DOGS LIFE. I cannot stress this to owners enough It is worth every penny for our children!

The process was extremely quick and easy. We went to the vet on a Saturday. Submitted a claim on Sunday. The adjuster had a question on Wednesday. I was reimbursed, funds in my bank account on Friday! Super easy! So happy that after a lot of research I chose Pumpkin for our pet insurance.

My 1 year old baby had to be rushed in for a pacemaker and Trupanion paid almost the entire bill for her. Their customer service is amazing! The payout was so fast and I would recommend them to anyone who needs pet insurance. Well worth the money per month for my dog!

Very dissatisfied

Very dissatisfied. I do not typically write negative reviews, but his one is concerning as a money scam. ManyPets makes it really easy to enroll, simple easy website enrollment. Immediately start taking premium payments, all easy. When comes time to process claims, a different approach comes up. I was aware that pre-existing conditions would not be covered and this is fair. What I was not aware was that upon placing the first claim, ManyPets requests 18 months of medical records and anything (really anything) that happened within 18 months is considered a pre-exiting condition. Even an itch is considered not covered for the next 18 months. ManyPets could easily have requested the medical history ahead of enrollment and established what was going to be covered or not. It only took the insurance adjuster a few hours to let me know that they were not going to cover any of my initial claim and a full list of "pre-existing conditions" now is listed on my policy (including any little thing that happened). I honestly feel this is not fair and regret I enrolled a few months back for nothing. I hope this can help other pet owners to not experience the dissatisfaction I feel now. By the way, when I asked for refunding my premium payments (that happened for nothing), I was told I should have read all the policy in full.

Each time my best friend needs medical help I am so glad that I have Embrace.

I got Health Insurance for my dog right away when I adopted him as a little ball of fur in the palm of my hand. I researched health insurance online and ask fellow pet owners. I chose Embrace Pet Insurance because of the woman who contacted me. Prices are pretty much comparable for the insurance options out there, when you figure what you are paying and what you are getting. Embrace was the only company who reached out to me and explained the options and how it all worked. She asked for my dog's name and from that point on all of the questions about my dog included his name. She asked about his breed and let me know what his breed may be prone to. She gave me quotes and options, I didn't feel like I was talking to a car salesman. I spoke to 2 other insurance groups and didn't feel as though my dog was a priority, and both were kind of pushy to get me signed up when I barely had any information. It really was a no-brainer for me, and I am so glad I chose Embrace. He is now 5 years old and has had his share of incidents and illnesses. Everyone at Embrace has been helpful and very pleasant. My dog was just diagnosed with Diabetes, and I have had several trips to the vet and prescriptions filled. The claims are so easy to submit and are handled very quickly. My last claim I submitted and had the reimbursement in my bank account 2 days later. Each time my best friend needs medical help I am so glad that I have Embrace.

The initial claim has been a nightmare

The initial claim has been an absolutely miserable experience. They continue to mark the claim as "action needed". The vet's office says "we sent them" and they bcc'ed me on the email. Call into HealthyPaws and they say "ah darn, don't use records@healthypaws, use claims instead (ignore what it says on our website). Then they say oh we got them, they just weren't attached to the claim. They later send out the exact same template "action needed, we need your pets complete medical record", which is exactly what was sent before. Call them back. Ah..shucks the records weren't attached to the claim so sorry. Just a BS run around doing nothing nothing but shifting status back to action "required from you" and sending out the same template which tells me absolutely nothing about what they think is missing but isn't. We're now on the 3rd cycle of this nonsense. Stay away from this company at all costs, they very clearly want to play as many games as possible to see if you'll just go away before they pay out. Complete garbage.
