Professional and trustworthy
Can only speak to initial setup of policy but Devin was patient, professional, and helpful, answering all the questions a new dog owner and prospective insurance customer might ask. If this is an indication of how the company runs, it's a very good sign. Based on all the reviews of Furkin's service so far, I'm feeling hopeful and trusting in this newer company.

The Call center staff have ALWAYS been…
The Call center staff have ALWAYS been compassionate and thoughtful. They get 5 stars. The policies are more of an issue, especially on what's covered and not. It's annoying that office visits are not covered. Imagine if we humans had to pay for office visits, we probably would probably never go to the doctor, especially those on fixed incomes. I have an issue with a claim being denied when it's a standing issue that was approved and covered 75% of the time. I've had to call and report it's denial only for CS to resubmit it and then it gets approved. I have an issue with the submission of the claim process. We used to be able to type in a paragraph or two to explain in detail the reason for the submission of the claim.

Trupanion is there for you - always!
Trupanion has been one of the best investments we have ever made. Our Jackson was insured since he was 8 weeks old up to his passing last month Oct 2022. He contracted IMPA about a year ago and his treatments were expensive and ongoing until his passing. There was never any question from Trupanion, whether it was medication or a custom fitted brace. Without Trupanion, we probably would have had to make hard choices earlier. Trupanion gave us an extra year with our boy and covered every single expense without question. Customer service is always top notch and they actually care. You're not just a number with Trupanion! I highly recommend this company.

My experiences with Trupanion have always been the best. I am 80 years old, not very computer savy or good at communication when it comes to technical concerns, etc. Trupianion has always been easy to deal with - no pages of questions or medical terminology, etc. I have had numerous pets covered by Trupanion - some never needing extensive medical care, and some that have. They have made it easy for me to 'understand' how to process a claim and basically 'taken care of everything once a claim has been filed. I am still working full time in part because it helps me to be able to continue the insurance coverage I have for my pets with a company I consider outstanding. Thank you for your consistent quality of service.

Not the most helpful when in need
Not the most helpful when a claim needs to be filed. There are too many stipulations and fine print and disqualify coverage. Not to mention of your ever had an issues prior to having the pet insurance it qualifies as a preexisting condition. For instance, if your pet gets an ear infection prior to the policy being instituted and it gets and ear infection after that qualifies as a preexisting condition. Not kidding! Don’t expect to use the insurance to cover much of anything except accidents. Company does offer a few different plans for coverage and out of pocket but it will cost you.
