Having Pet insurance has made those emergency decisions a lot easier when you know Trupanion’s got you covered. I couldn’t imagine not having pet insurance. And also that most vet clinics will do direct billing for you.

Read The Plan In Detail Before Purchasing
We have had dogs and cats for over 20 years. This year we purchased a new puppy and thought the insurance would ease some of the dollars needing to spend for shots, exams, heartgard, etc. So I purchased one of the Figo plans and should have looked at the yearly coverage for the Wellness Plus plan in more detail. I have had the plan for less than 4 months and have already used up the medication coverage for her flee/tick and heartworm protection. Keep in mind when you have a puppy the dose as they get older changes. Thus I did not purchase a multi pack and now will have to pay out of pocket until the next renewal :( At this rate I will have saved very little. I think the pet insurance is for unexpected accidents and not normal yearly routing.

I was notified regarding a submission for services we did not receive. I sent an email to trupanion, the matter was never investigated. I was sent an email stating that my claims did not qualify for submission. ( which were never submitted by me in the first place)
