Love the website

It was so easy to process a claim and have fast it was approved. I love the website, so much information and easy to navigate. I’m glad I choose Figo for my pet insurance.

I highly recommend Fetch.

I highly recommend Fetch. My lovely Westie passed away after a brief illness. Fetch reimbursed me promptly into my Canadian account. I’m so grateful as it has been a tough time and to have one less burden has helped a lot. All the staff I have communicated with over the course of my policy and been very courteous and quick to respond and assist . Thank you Fetch

We’ve used embrace for over 5 years now…

We’ve used embrace for over 5 years now and they are great. We foster Gail many dogs so we usually end up using them more than once a year and at vets in ca costing more than $100 just on a visit nevermind if you have to get something done sometimes that one visit pays for entire year of policy. We have the 90% back policy and with the direct deposit it’s great on turn around time for payment back to you.

Unhelpful Customer Service

Submitting a claim is a timely and frustrating experience. When I called the customer service phone number, it wouldn’t connect me with a human, kept hanging up on me, and no one ever answered. I tried chatting within the Fetch app, but the customer service rep. was unhelpful and did not answer my question- she just kept repeating herself. It's obvious she was not reading my responses. An hour and a half later (after multiple tries at their Customer Service phone number & other chats) I still do not have an answer in order to submit a claim. Fetch requires that the consumer uploads the medical records, but it's illegal for a resident in my state to do so- yet Fetch requires it! No one will help! The vet. requires that Fetch send a request for medical records form, and Fetch refuses!!!! I've just wasted hundreds and hundreds of dollars!

Nothing is covered

I adopted a cat, Toast, through the local shelter and was able to provide a full health history for the Toast. Of the 3 time in a year and a half I took my cat to the vet, once for an ear infection, once for a check up, and once because of sudden and large nosebleed. I have been denied coverage, made to wait hours for answers, and told that these are preexisting conditions of Toast. What's the point of paying for insurance or having 8k over available funds if I can't use them when my cat needs them. He is literally waiting on a blood transfusion and insurance won't cover what it says in my policy it should. I am livid. I may lose my cat with available funds in my insurance watches. This is the most backwards ass company with no heart. Don't use.

No hassles & Very pleased

TruPanion Canada gave us no trouble when we had to bring our Chihuahua in for a wheezing/bloating issue. The vet had a few concerns regarding both and ran some blood work, x-rays, and performed a full exam. We have a top tier coverage from TruPanion, and though pricey on a monthly basis, it was worth it when we needed to use it. The claim was submitted and TruPanion approved it within moments, there was no hassles, no arguments, no run around's it was done which made it much easier on our pocketbook as a thousand dollar bill was halved. Thank you to TruPanion for the coverage you provide, our little pup is back home and were happy to know that she is getting the best care possible (and feeling better) for her thanks to TruPanion.

Good luck getting any sort of claim coverage

I would not recommend Trupanion to anyone. We have a French Bulldog who is now 5 and needed the BOAS surgery. Trupanion refused to cover it claiming it’s a “pre-existing condition”. Our vet fought them on this because there were no signs of this during her initial check up as a puppy but it’s a breed specific condition that can come up during their life so they still denied it. We went ahead with the surgery as she was having difficulty breathing and after some complications, she’s now fully healed, breathing normally and living a much better quality of life. Our vet has been fighting with Trupanion for several months and even Trupanions rep said it’s ridiculous not to cover this but low and behold, they have denied all of our claims. Our vet has exhausted all options and we’re left paying for a crappy insurance provider so we have “peace of mind” but they deny about 70% of our claims with some sort of excuse. Our premiums increase every year (with or without any claims). To top it off, they have told our vet that starting next year, they are going to “quietly” deny all claims related to a breed specific condition. Again, I wouldn’t recommend them. 0 stars if possible.

Able and Compassionate Allies in the Fight for our 'Ruckus'

We joined Healthy Paws in October 2019 and signed up our two Scotties. We now have 3 on the policy. Our 7 year old, Ruckus, was diagnosed with TCC in September, 2021 and given his young age we decided to fight. We were referred to a wonderful oncology team here in Richmond, VA (here's a shameless plug for THE ONCOLOGY SERVICE!). I'm pleased to report that 13 months later, our Ruckus is still in the game and continuing to fight. Our association with Healthy Paws Pet Insurance has been every bit as good as that of our oncology team. They have supported our efforts flawlessly. Our claims have been processed quickly, and needed funds have always been received on time and in the correct amounts. All they've asked of us is to submit proper, complete invoices and medical records as required. Their website interface has made that simple and efficient. Lastly, and maybe most importantly, their people truly seem to care about our fur babies. Follow-up messaging asking us how it's going with our treatments and 'give Ruckus a hug' sentiments provide a personal touch that we didn't expect from an "insurance company". We don't know what the future holds for our boy, but between our oncology team and Healthy Paws Pet Insurance, we've been able to give him 13 months of quality life he surely would not have had otherwise. Thank you, Healthy Paws!
