New to insurance on pets and we got off to a rocky start with a difficult claim, but ultimately was resolved satisfactorily. Our second claim, after an accident in a golf cart, was resolved quickly and professionally. I would recommend anyone to use the Embrace Pet Insurance.

I have enjoyed pets best since I have been a member, however, the excessive amount of time it takes for you to process and repay a claim is awful. I cannot imagine that it takes more than a month to repay somebody for experiences, or that bills out of pocket. I always pay my payment on time every month to you and yet your company seems to pay their claims at leisure. there is absolutely no excuse for claims to take longer than a week to pay

Great service, great coverage
Trupanion has always been transparent and compassionate, the associates I've spoken with has always been wonderful. I'm never happy with a premium increase but trupanion is great at keeping the increases manageable and the coverage is great. Most local vets direct bill which is also an amazing and very helpful service, especially for more expensive visits or recurring visits.

Reliable and easy to use
I've been using Healthy Paws for years with all my dogs and my experience has been great. Their claim submission portal is easy to use and doesn't require you itemize only the items you need reimbursement. They do it and you just have to review. I never had issues with coverage and I already had to use the insurance for expensive treatments like cancer.

I and my Dogs are Canadian, our thanksgiving was a month ago. Always about the USA, never about other countries. As for Claims well I am seriously thinking of Cancelling my pet insurance.

My first time ever filing a claim and was pleasantly surprised when my reimbursement was deposited in three days! Very happy with coverage, cost and service.

BEWARE. I never write reviews but this needed one.
I never write reviews, ever. But, this calls for one. My dog has developed separation anxiety. He is one. Before talking to my vet, I contacted a Trupanion customer service representative to ask if the medication I am considering is covered and to look at my plan to ensure things are in place to go forward smoothly as this was my first time making a claim. I have had Trupanion since my dog was 8 weeks old to make sure nothing was pre-existing. I was told that everything was good and I just had to work my way up to the $700 deductible and then my medication would be covered 90%. This was a lie. I woke up today to an email explaining that my dog would not be covered as apparently I needed to purchase a specific rider policy for separation anxiety 30 days into starting my Trupanion account for my dog. I was NOT told this. I am now on a medication that is $127 a month for my dog (AFTER BEING ENSURED ALL WAS IN PLACE AND GOOD TO PROCEED) that will not be covered in any way as either way I cannot add the rider to my plan and it is now considered a pre-existing condition. Absolutely ridiculous. Talk to multiple representatives before starting a medication to make sure you aren’t in the same boat as me. Apparently that’s needed. Very angry and upset with the service and lack of transparency.
