Embrace has saved my life financially~
My ONLY 2 complaints are : They changed their holistic coverage, its covers much less. Really not enough for what is needed. They only cover 12 acupunture OR chiro OR laser, per condition, per year. So my dog who has arthritis, can only have 6 laser & 6 accu in 1 year. Also, the cost goes WAY up when your pets gets older :( I had a 25% increase last year & a 23% increase this year. BUT, i had 27K in claims in a 9 month period, all 80% covered, a couple years back. Then another 17K in 6 months time, also all 80% covered. Thank GOD! The claims process is SUPER easy once your pet is established & each condition is in their system & my refunds come super fast.

Excellent customer service
My dog is 7 months and while I haven't had any need to file a claim yet, the few times I've contacted Trupanion they have been very helpful, experienced and provided excellent customer service. I feel my puppy and I are well taken care of!

Fetch ROCKS!
Tuxedo had a problem with his back paw. It took over a month for him to heal. Fetch was there for him through it all!!!! every time I put in a claim for medicine, cone, DR visits, X Rays Fetch was there for Tuxedo! I thank Fetch very very much!

Don’t buy insurance, pay out of pocket
We paid their steep monthly premiums for years and when our German Shepard needed treatment for an ear infection, they refused to reimburse us. *update: they claim I never sent them the necessary records to process our claim. I sent them the records we have for our dog and explained that we adopted her and there are no records beyond that. They basically have a de facto policy of being able to deny all claims to adopted dogs, but will not actually say that, and they won’t make these policies clear until you’ve paid them lots of premiums over the years. Save your money- don’t buy pet insurance, just be prepared to pay out of pocket.
