This was a stressful illness for our dog, but she is fine and the claim and payment info. from AKS Pet Ins. was super easy and fast. I'm so glad we went with them. Hopefully we won't need it anymore, but, it's good to know we have it for "Labrador" life.

Excellent pet insurance
I've had Healthy Paws insurance for my Boston since the first week I adopted her, back in 2018. Not only is the customer service fast and helpful, having this insurance for my dog has saved me literal thousands. I am incredibly grateful to have Healthy Paws pet insurance for her! It's such a relief knowing that I'm financially covered if the worst case scenario happens (and it's happened twice now). I'd much rather spend the time caring for Sophie than worrying about how I'm going to afford the bill. I cannot recommend Healthy Paws enough.

My decision to have insurance was an easy one. When my first red toy poodle jumped from my arms at 6 months old, she had a 45 degree break on her front leg and I had no insurance on her. After 3 breaks, 3 surgeries and out of pocket costs close to $15,000, I decided to look into insurance when it was time to add to our fur family. The day I came home with 2 additional red toy poodles, I had already completed research and signed them up for Trupanion. Ollie went for routine blood work at our regular vet prior to neutering and an elevated liver enzyme led us to an Internal Vet Specialist. I've been very pleased with Trupanion customer service. My questions were answered. I picked my deductible ($500) along with the coverage (90%). I was a bit surprised the appointments themselves aren't covered, but knowing everything else is I'm very happy. We're hopefully on the right path to getting Ollie well. He's had an ultrasound and he's currently on 2 different antibiotics, all covered at 90%. After 3 weeks of the antibiotics, his blood will be tested again. If there's no improvement, he'll need to have a biopsy on his liver. The cost will be in the neighborhood of $5,000 if it comes to that. Thanks to Trupanion, I can focus on my Ollie and the 10% that I have to pay, letting them handle everything else, almost entirely worry free!

Fake reviews and a bad company
Fake reviews and a bad company. You can tell all the 5-star reviews are fake because they're all named "customer". The only genuine review with a real name is 1-star. I also waited on the phone for an hour and received no answer from the Pumpkin side. Stay away from them and their fraudulent claims.

Trupanion is the best pet insurance imaginable!
I have had multiple dogs for over thirty years but had never had pet insurance. The breeder of my current cavalier suggested Trupanion, and I took it out when I got home. I never imagined that I would need it, but Nicky required elbow surgery for correction of IOHC, and Trupanion provided excellent coverage and very prompt payment. Their customer service also truly provides service and is easily accessed for questions. I wouldn't consider getting a dog in the future without having Trupanion coverage. Thank you, Trupanion.

Pets Best has affordable insurance rates if you get it it as a puppy, claims handling and processing as well as customer service is great so far. Had this insurance for over a year, and has been beneficial to have from well visit/shots/spay, I still save money with this.
