Great Coverage - Great Customer Service - Quick and Clear Communication
Once I decided I was getting a French bulldog I knew I would need pet insurance knowing the breed. When asking around to those who had pet insurance majority ruled with Healthy Paws. When my puppy had a freak accident at three months old and broke his leg I was so thankful to have pet insurance. He also recently ruptured a disc and I didn’t have to worry about the cost because I had Healthy Paws. Filing each claim was easy and checking the status was clear through email and even easier when you have the app. The customer service is awesome and responsive and even checked in to see how everything was going with recovery. They were very clear in all claims what they covered and did not based on my plan and provided breakdown of everything. You really never know what could happen and I’m thankful to have healthy paws!

So pleased with this insurance. I never hoped to have to use it but that was short lived. Ranger's middle name is Danger. Healthy Paws was there when we needed them - no questions asked. Excellent Coverage
Anytime my dog needs to go to the doctor for an unplanned event, the visit and medications have been covered. Ear infections, ingestions, and even the allergy doctor with shots is covered. Very easy to submit claims and the reimbursement is prompt. Highly recommend.

Overall I recommend
I love the policy that I have and it’s turned out to be a blessing with the puppy we adopted who is inclined to eat things she shouldn’t. I love that it covers 100% accident and prevention. Customer service has been friendly. What I would like to see is (1) if they say a drug will be approved with a vets prescription, please approve it. (2) Process the claims in a way that makes sense. There are times when not 100% is covered and it should be, or there is one huge lump sum that I can’t figure out belongs to what claim. (3) Make the benefit statements be available online or in the app. I’m reliant on the paper statement they send to align back to the claim. It’s challenging to figure out what was processed vs not. (4) Consistently use the date of service instead of randomly inserting other dates for the claims, so, again, I can follow what was processed. It is a great insurance, I just wish it took less time to figure out the status of the claim and tie back payment to the actual claim.
